@ShehuSani Have you ever condemned Iran's sponsorship of terrorism with taxpayers' money? I just wanted to know. Intelligence and objectivity are inseparable.

@renoomokri If the country starts with leaders who do what critics call out, then that's a good place to start from. The worst one is that of those who don't budge when criticized. By the way, have you condemned those who allegedly attempted to assassinate the man?

Why Did The Minister For Tribalism, Peter Obi, Ignore The Ajayi Brothers and Wunmi Mosaku On Their Historic BAFTA Awards? After All, He Congratulated Onyinye Omenugha For a Lesser Award!
Please fact-check me: On Monday, February 9, 2026, even though six players of Nigerian origin were featured in the 2026 Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, Peter Obi celebrated only his fellow Igbo players, including Michael Onwenu of the New England Patriots, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Uchenna Nwosu, both of the Seattle Seahawks.
Peter Obi ignored the other players who were non-Igbo, including Boye Mafe, Nick Emmanwori, and Olusegun Oluwatimi of the Seattle Seahawks.
It was not until I called him out that he acknowledged the non-Igbo players the next day, as a face-saving measure to hide his blatant tribalistic nature.
Please fact-check me again: Nigerians may also recall that in 2023, the Diana Award was bestowed on eighteen Nigerians, yet Peter Obi singled out only an Igbo woman, Ms Onyinye Omenugha, for congratulations and ignored the seventeen other Nigerian winners, who may as well have been sinners, being that they were not from the right ethnic origin, as far as Peter Obi is concerned.
It was only the next day, after he had been shamed for his clannish behaviour, that Mr Obi belatedly congratulated the other Nigerians who had won, including Oladdotun Ajayi, Olalekan Ajayi, Yusuf Babatunde, Oluwatomi Olunuga, amongst others.
Now, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, three Nigerians won big at the 79th British Academy Film Awards, which is an even more prestigious event than the Super Bowl.
They include the brothers, Akinola Davies Jr., Wale Davies, who won the 2026 BAFTA for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer for their film My Father's Shadow, and Wunmi Mosaku, who won the 2026 BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Annie in the film Sinners.
However, four days after their historic wins, Peter Obi has not even acknowledged or celebrated them. Could it be because they are not of his ethnic nationality?
Be advised that the BAFTAS are the biggest film awards on the planet after the Oscars.
Nigerians should note the pattern here.
Recall that on Friday, October 24, 2025, Peter Obi congratulated Mrs Margaret Obi when she was appointed as a High Court Judge in England and Wales.
However, when Abayomi Ajaiyeoba Whint and Bunmi Awoniyi made history as the first Nigerian women to be elected as judges in the United States, Peter Obi ignored their epic achievements.
Once may be a mistake. Twice could be an oversight. But when it happens over and over and over again, despite repeated calls for such obvious tribalism to stop, the truth can no longer be hidden.
Peter Obi is an Igbo ethnic irredentist who has no business running to be President of a multiethnic, multicultural, multiracial, and multi-religious country like Nigeria.
Which is why he kept mute when Biafran groups were revealed to have spent millions of dollars lobbying the US against Nigeria, yet shouted and called the Nigerian government's counter-lobbying contract a "waste".
This leopard can NEVER change his spots!
Such a person, as Obi, is more Biafran than Nigerian.

BREAKING NEWS: Notorious armed bandit leader Mustapha Babaro has reportedly imposed a ₦50m levy on Yargoje and communities surrounded it, Kankara LGA, Katsina State. Residents say he issued a stern warning to villages yesterday, that fail to pay within the set deadline will have repercussions.
If this can happen in an LGA that held two peace parleys with bandits in less than 3 months, what kind of truce are local authorities in Katsina State actually reaching and how effective is it in protecting communities?

The Federal Government must come clean with Nigerians.
The quiet appointment of Xpress Payments Solutions Limited as a new TSA collecting agent is not an administrative decision, it is a dangerous resurrection of the Alpha Beta revenue cartel that dominated Lagos State during and after the Tinubu years. That model created a private toll gate around public revenue and funnelled state funds into the hands of a politically connected monopoly.
What we are witnessing now is the attempt to nationalise that same template, moving Nigeria from a republic to a private holding company controlled by a small circle of vested interests.
To introduce such a policy in the middle of a national tragedy, while Nigerians are mourning loved ones lost to the deepening insecurity crisis, is not only insensitive, it is a deliberate act of governance by stealth. When a nation is grieving, leadership should show empathy and focus on securing lives, not on expanding private revenue pipelines.
This latest move raises fundamental questions:
Why was this appointment rushed and smuggled into the public space without consultation, stakeholder engagement, or National Assembly oversight?
What value does Xpress Payments add that existing TSA channels do not already provide?
Who truly benefits from this? Nigeria or an entrenched political network?
This is not reform. This is state capture masquerading as digital innovation.
Let me be clear:
Nigeria does not need more middlemen between citizens and their government revenue. What we need is greater transparency, stronger institutions, and a tax system free from political capture.
I therefore call for the following:
1. Immediate suspension of the Xpress Payments appointment pending a public inquiry;
2. Full disclosure of the contractual terms, beneficiaries, fee structures, and selection criteria;
3. A comprehensive audit of TSA operations to prevent the creeping privatisation of revenue collection;
4. A legal framework, not executive shortcuts, that prohibits the insertion of private proxies into core government revenue systems;
5. A national security priority shift, recognising that a country under assault cannot afford economic governance conducted in the shadows.
Nigeria’s revenues are not political spoils. They are the lifeblood of our national survival, especially at a time when insecurity is tearing communities apart.
The government must abandon this Lagos-style revenue cartelisation and return to the path of transparency, constitutionalism, and public accountability. -AA

@ARISEtv How I wish this fight is about:
1. improving the security situation in the country.
2. making the country an investment haven.
3. pulling the masses out of multidimensional poverty.
4. rule of law, equity, fairness, and justice.
Unfortunately, it is about selfish interests.

WIKE, GOVS MAKINDE, BALA CLASH AT PDP SECRETARIAT
It's a showdown at the PDP National Secretariat as governors of Bauchi and Oyo states have clashed with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike with both parties
attempting to take over the National secretariat of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party in the Wuse Zone 5 District of Abuja.
ARISE Correspondent Mary Chinda reports that security operatives loyal to the FCT Minister and Governors Seyi Makinde and Bala Mohammed embarked in a free for all or who would take possession of the PDP National Secretariat with a rainfall of teargas pumped around the vicinity by both parties.
While Governor Makinde stormed the venue with the newly elected National Secretary, Taofeek Arapaja, Nyesom Wike stayed put with Samuel Anyanwu, the embattled National Secretary of the party who insists his tenure is still in place till December 8, 2025.
Party leaders are now expressing worry over the development accusing the Police of not being neutral in the leadership crisis facing the Peoples Democratic Party.

@RealCharlesOgbu At least Catholic Bishop Anagbe is bold enough to do the right thing unlike Bishop Kukah trying to hold brief for the APC government while anarchy is unleashed on helpless Nigerians. Things fall apart in Nigeria and the centre ...
English

This is Bishop Wilfred Chikpa Anagbe of the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi.
On February 14th, 2024, Bishop Anagbe appeared before the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, testifying about the genocidal persecution of Christians in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, particularly Benue State. He was invited again on March 12, 2025 during which the good Bishop, accompanied by reverend father Remigius Ihyula, detailed systematic massacres by ethnic Fulani jihadists against Christian farming communities, including kidnappings, church burnings, and land seizures.
According to the clergy, the number of Christians documented to have been killed by the Fulani Jihadists is over 1000 within months with over 160 Churches destroyed In the past decade and large swaths of land belonging to the Christian victims seized and currently occupied by the jihadists with no commensurate action from the govt. Bishop Anagbe told the US parliamentarians that the Nigerian govt is engaging in a “conspiracy of silence” aimed at enabling an “Islamic agenda” to Islamize the region.

After Testimony, Bishop Anagbe and Father Ihyula received multiple death threats allegedly from Nigerian government sources and Islamist groups.
In April 2025, foreign embassies (including the U.S.) warned of potential arrest upon his return to Nigeria. The Nigerian Foreign Ministry denied involvement
but promised investigations.
On May 24–26, 2025: Fulani Jihadists attacked Bishop Anagbe’s home village - Aondona - killing not less than 42 people (some sources placed the casualty figure at over 70) and displacing hundreds. This was described by many as reprisal for his testimony at the US Congress

On June 1–13, 2025, further coordinated attacks by ethnic Fulani Jihadists in Gwer West and Apa counties including Yelwata (near Makurdi) left over 300 men, women and children butchered with most of the victims burnt alive. This was even as the communities alerted the security agencies of the impending attacks weeks before it happened. Many of you would remember that the Bola Tinubu govt and her agents actually tried to play down the Yelwata massacre until activist Verydarkblackman went to the venue to bring the gory images of the victims to social media.
During the last Lent/Holy Week, over 92 Christians were massacred in the same Benue.
Please note that the govt headed by a muslim president and a muslim vice president has not prosecuted any known Fulani jihadist for any of these genocidal attacks. Most shocking is the fact that after similar attacks in Jos which left over 271 Christians dead, the leader of the Fulani jihadists called a Press Conference where he was shown in a video shared by Tvcnewsng, a television station owned by @officialABAT, giving conditions that must be met before they stop killing innocent people. One of the conditions he gave was the removal of a senior military commander in charge of keeping peace in Plateau. (I will share the video in the comment section ) As I type, that particular commander is no longer in his position. Your govt yielded to the demand of the jihadist.
I challenge anyone to fact-check everything I have written here.
THERE IS CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE GOING ON IN NIGERIA and the govt is complicit. The whataboutism of some Muslims being affected does not vitiate this fact because even those muslim victims were killed by fellow Muslims and there is no record of a any Muslim community being targeted the way it has been happening in southern kaduna, Benue and other parts of the Middle Belt

@thekanoblog @ShehuSani Yes, by God's grace, we will rebuild the nation. I love the spirit.
English

We don’t need you to tell us it has become a pandemic, because even if you’re not among those who started vote-buying, you’re surely among those who support leaders who can’t win elections without buying votes. But time is moving, and people are dying. We must rebuild this nation on the path of truth and justice, just as our forefathers — Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and Mallam Aminu Kano — once did. The selfish leaders and representatives who destroyed that legacy should remember: one day, we will reclaim this nation and rebuild it — even stronger than Awolowo, Balewa, and others did.

@gaiuschibueze @ohanaezefarm Bold step and congratulations to you and your team. I spent last weekend at OHANAEZE FARM @ohanaezefarm — the largest fenced livestock farm by land size in Southeast Nigeria.
We’re building steadily and expanding every month, gradually onboarding more livestock as we work toward our bold target of 5,000 cows and 10,000 goats.
During my visit, I commissioned our engineer to begin construction of our Pig Farm a major milestone in our journey.
On the same day, I was also on-site with a plumbing team to kick off the installation of a large-scale irrigation system. This system will tap into the local Amanyi Stream to provide year-round irrigation for our pasturelands. The goal is to cultivate high-nutrient livestock grasses like Super Napier and leguminous forage crops, significantly reducing our monthly overhead costs on commercial feed.
Our long-term goal is bold but clear: to meet 40% of the Southeast’s beef and meat demand through local production.
We’re also establishing our own meat processing facility under our subsidiary brand, “BETANỤ” (@BETANU_Meat), to ensure quality control and value addition across the supply chain.
We’re inviting @sedcgov, @markokoyeII , @OgbedeCliff , and other regional leaders to come see the impactful work we’re doing. We welcome strategic partnerships that can help us scale sustainably and create jobs across the region.
The ranch currently sits on 410 plots of land — and we’re only just getting started!
