@IndiGo6E has a rather impish sense of humour. It is probably laughing at the tragedy of its passengers. It's flight 6E6380 from Patna to Delhi was supposed to depart at 6.15. After every half an hour, it was delayed by an hour more. At 9, impatient passengers, waiting for more than five hours began protesting. The airline then said it was arranging another flight and started boarding at 9.40 with scheduled departure now being 10.15 pm. Little did passengers know this was a game. Passengers were herded into two buses. The doors locked and then the buses didn't move for the next 40 mins. Elderly on wheelchair, children, women all suffering and complaining of suffocation. No water to drink. No way to visit the loo. When people protested again, the driver just left the bus. He came back after some time and drove the bus in a U turn and then parked it on arrival. People are still locked in the bus. And now I am not laughing.This a cruel joke @IndiGo6E . For all practical purposes we are under arrest. @RamMNK

वर्ष 2024 अच्छा नहीं रहा। 11 जुलाई को माँ चली गई। अभी इस आघात से उभरे भी नहीं थे कि 24 दिसंबर को अन्ना (पिताजी) भी चले गये। 10 जुलाई को माँ और पिता का साया सर पर था और 25 दिसम्बर को दोनों का ही नहीं। भगवान से प्रार्थना है कि दोनों को अपने चरणों में स्थान दें।

Joined the Indian Administrative Service 30 years ago on this day. The last 30 years have been challenging, rewarding & extremely satisfying. Given a second chance, I will again opt for the same service and cadre. In the words of Dushyant kumar 'कौन कहता है आसमाँ में सुराख नहीं हो सकता, एक पत्थर तो तबीयत से उछालो यारों'.
