If the numbers are even close to correct… Milan Momcilovic is doing everything in his power to NOT sign with Kentucky. The money UK is offering is life-changing. But the vision, resources, and potential down the line could carry more weight for Louisville.

Per Mike Rutherford, Writer on SB Nation and Manager of Cardinal Chronicle, Milan’s commitment should come today, but could extend to this weekend. Louisville had a zoom meeting with Milan this morning. They felt better coming out of the meeting than they’ve felt, but they’re not confident they have what it takes to land him. He also commented Arizona doesn’t have the money to get this done.

@BigBlueCats33 @ReturnOfTheCats It's also incremental improvement. While not a huge success he went a round further this year. But this is a big year for him, and he knows it. He overhauled his staff and his scheme, could be a huge success or blow up in his face. Time will tell.

My frustrations with Mark Pope are all off-court things tbh. Refusing to hire a GM, bad roster construction last year, bad strategy to this offseason. But at least there’s some good on-court stuff to balance it. What has Pat Kelsey done on the court for UofL fans to buy into?

@thestateoflou The biggest mistake of our season was doubling down on the 4 guard lineup when Mikel got hurt. Should have inserted Rhooths as PF, and moved Hadley to the 3.

Khani Rooths is a blueprint on how to navigate a career at the high-major level in the portal and NIL era Rooths built up a ton of equity by being accessible, engaging with teammates and fans, and doing whatever is needed for the team. While he didn’t see the time he wanted at Louisville, he immediately becomes marketable at Oklahoma and comes with rave reviews from coaches, fans, etc.

@StephonTheGreat @TheCardConnect The lesson we learned on roster construction. Go get two quality portal point guards instead of one star PG. Spend that star money on Shooting guards and wings, at least then we will be able to handle pressure and run the offense.

Not saying do it right now, but this team needs to work on zone defense for the future. Their inability to defend without fouling has been exposed at an insane level in ACC play. You are what you are at this point and adjustments are needed.
