Apple’s upcoming AirPods will include built-in cameras. These cameras are not meant for taking photos. Instead, they send visual information to Siri, so your earbuds can help you understand what is in front of you. You can walk into a room and ask what you are looking at. Siri will be able to see what you see. A privacy LED will turn on whenever the cameras are sending visual data, so you will always know when they are active. The updated version of Siri will be available in September, and Apple has already started making the new AirPods with cameras.
