NCP has gone into administration. They’ve been running car parks since 1931, and somehow ended up £305m in debt. Surely the maintenance for a car park is simple: ticket machines, barriers, lights, and occasional cleaning. How can a business model literally based on people paying to park go bankrupt?

@Timoldland i3 is the logical name for the EV 3-series, so arguably it's the original i3 (which my wife drives and we love) which has been misnamed. Perhaps should have been the i1.

No huge infrastructure projects, a full street can be electrified in a matter of hours. Manufactured and assembled in the UK and fully OCPP. Using what’s already there. For millions of people across the UK, especially those without driveways, this is the difference between “I can’t have an EV” and “actually…I can.” It’s easy to overlook innovations like this because they’re not flashy. No 350kW ultra-rapid chargers. No massive charging hubs. Just practical, scalable, everyday infrastructure doing exactly what it needs to do. And that’s the point. The EV transition will be be driven by everyone having the ability to charge when they need to. Simple. Effective.

The night of the European Super League news breaking was absolutely the best I can remember on here. Football Twitter is probably the most divided community on the internet and for a little while, it was 99% United in disgust and anger.

@gomedia91 First thing that springs to mind is the smell of urine and cigarettes. Almost a weirdly nostalgic smell from childhood. I remember the NCP that was opposite the Cardiff library (that used to be by Toys R Us and old Primark) as a child when going to town.

A chance to rethink this business model. Perhaps start by selling off some of these overpriced, cramped, dirty, waste of space city centre car parks and turn them into something useful. Westgate St especially. We have much better, modern, multistorey car parks elsewhere.

Rio Nguomha getting MOTM is a prime example of aesthetic bias in football. Good cameo. But did nothing with his dribbles. Wasn't able to put in a single successful ball, cross, pass. Impacted the game nada. Possession loss with extra steps. Will he be a good player in the future? Of course. But we are strictly talking about today's performance.
