@CoreyB08 any performances based job that works on bonus & your pay is tied to your performance NFL has no guaranteed contracts. MLB can keep you in arbitration for yrs simply by refusing you to play so many gms any given yr so each sport has its own rules & NBA caused its own issues

The problem I have with the 65 game rule isn’t that they can’t get the award. It’s the fact that the award is attached to possible increases in your salary, making all NBA teams to determine if you’re available for a Max contract it should be up to the team. They already have the bird right so they can spend more than any other team could or even add a fifth year if needed to. I don’t understand why we have to attach it to NBA awards that are selected by a committee of people who usually get the awards wrong.

This isn’t about tanking this is about keeping him healthy. I remain utterly perplexed by Giannis’ PR strategy, which now includes antagonizing the team he desperately wants us to know he’s not asking to be traded from.

@HoopsReference 60 gms of 82 is literally less than working 30 hrs a week when a fulltime is 40 hrs a week. You are part time at that point especially if we talking 50-55 gms Had Cade not missed 7 gms to rest up for ailing small INJs to keep his stats up… we are not having this discussion
