Americans need a real steward for our public lands. Steve Pearce, Trump’s pick to lead the BLM, isn’t one. He opposed environmental protections and pushed to sell public lands when he was in Congress. Our public lands are NEVER for sale. I'm a NO on his nomination.

Friends, help protect Chaco Canyon! Here’s what you can do: - Call your members of Congress and urge them to sign onto the Chaco Cultural Heritage Area Protection Act and to protect Chaco Canyon! - Call the Department of the Interior at 202-208-3100 and tell them hands off Chaco Canyon! - Call the White House at 202-456-1111 and tell President Trump to protect Chaco Canyon from oil and gas development! It will take all of us to protect these sacred sites, and every single voice in this fight matters! Please share and help spread the word!

Since I was elected to Congress, I’ve fought for protections for Chaco Canyon, and I will continue to stand up to the Trump administration's attacks on this sacred land.

Chaco Canyon is one of the most important living cultural landscapes on the planet and we have long called for its permanent protection. It's not about the past–it’s about the generations to come. I’ll continue to fight for it because it is a place worth protecting.

The Arctic Refuge is one of our nation’s last truly wild places — home to the Gwich’in and Iñupiat peoples and the birthing grounds of the Porcupine Caribou Herd. Misguided proposals would threaten it forever. Today I had a message for our colleagues: if you believe in protecting public land, our wildlife and history, vote NO.
