During this week’s cleanup we found a 9-month-old baby & mom living in a tent in the park.
Mom has already cycled through the best family shelter programs in the county… yet she’s still on the streets.
Immediate needs: clothes, food & diapers.
She wants a low-barrier (illegal drugs allowed) tiny home.
Multiple agencies referred her to the cities’s Unified Care Team. Pallet Shelters are literally across the street. We’ll make daily contact & neighbors are stepping up.

Happy to do so. “Talking filibuster” won’t get us there and the votes aren’t there to nuke the filibuster, but open to any constructive ideas. My concern is falsely raising expectations and demoralizing our base, seems like a flawed strategy to win the midterms, 131 days from now.
