Strengthening Risk and Compliance as a Driver of Digital Growth Risk and compliance are no longer control functions operating at the margins. In a digital-first environment, they have become central to enabling innovation, building customer trust, and ensuring sustainable growth. Organizations that successfully integrate governance with business strategy gain a critical advantage in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. Bringing this perspective into the ecosystem, Terrence Lim joins the Digital Growth Collective as an Executive Fellow. Terrence is Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at Blue Insurance Hong Kong, where he leads framework transformation, board-level reporting, and regulatory assurance to support scalable growth in a digital insurance environment. With over two decades of experience across leading institutions, including Public Bank, the Securities Commission, Manulife, Aviva, ZhongAn, iptiQ by Swiss Re, and Blue Insurance, Terrence has built a career focused on repositioning risk and compliance as strategic enablers of innovation, governance, and customer confidence. He played a pivotal role in launching Hong Kong’s first fully digital life insurer, delivering a zero-commission, digital-first platform that redefined customer engagement. His expertise spans internal audit, risk-based compliance frameworks, AML/CFT, and governance strategies that balance regulatory rigor with business performance. Terrence is known for making complexity actionable. His perspective connects resilience, innovation, and governance, helping organizations navigate uncertainty while building long-term strength. In his role as Executive Fellow, Terrence will contribute through thought leadership and strategic dialogue on risk transformation, digital insurance, regulatory strategy, and the evolving role of compliance in enabling innovation and organizational resilience. We are delighted to welcome Terrence to the Digital Growth Collective ecosystem and look forward to his contributions. #ExecutiveFellow #RiskManagement #Compliance #Insurance #DigitalTransformation #Leadership @RLDI_Lamy @smaksked @Khulood_Almani @thomas_dettling @Corix_JC @chidambara09 @FrRonconi @Nicochan33 @CurieuxExplorer @amalmerzouk @Timothy_Hughes @sonu_monika @mvollmer1 @HaroldSinnott @theomitsa @GlenGilmore @Shi4Tech @pchamard @antgrasso @SpirosMargaris @EstelaMandela @bimedotcom @Analytics_699 @IngridVasiliu @nafisalam @mikeflache

With the introduction of AI, we now know that the most human company wins. Social Selling enables you to build trust and relationships at scale while reducing CAC and shortening time-to-market. By providing a business with the data it needs, it will soon get back on a growth trajectory. #ArtificialIntelligence #Sales #Leadership @RLDI_Lamy @smaksked @BetaMoroney @thomas_dettling @Khulood_Almani @rwang0 @bamitav @Corix_JC @chidambara09 @FrRonconi @Nicochan33 @CurieuxExplorer @amalmerzouk @Timothy_Hughes @sonu_monika @mvollmer1 @HaroldSinnott @theomitsa @GlenGilmore @Shi4Tech @pchamard @antgrasso @SpirosMargaris @EstelaMandela @bimedotcom @Analytics_699 @IngridVasiliu @nafisalam @mikeflache insights.digitalgrowthcollective.com/social-selling…

Good point, @DG_Collective. I’ve seen cycles in which capital’s confidence in “certainty” later proved to be a misreading of where durable value actually formed. Leadership is not only about acting without certainty, but also about resisting the pull of what appears certain and well-priced. The harder work is often staying committed to what is still unmeasured, not just what is unproven.

@mikeflache The inflection point will be how effectively insights translate into interventions. Value is created when data-driven judgment is embedded in clinical workflows and outcomes, enabling decisions that are not only more precise but also consistently actionable at scale.

The potential is significant, but the question is: where will value be created? Wearables can generate enormous amounts of data. Data alone does not improve care. In healthcare, precision is not defined by more information, but by better judgment. And that is where AI will ultimately be measured.

Transforming preventive care: AI-supported wearables will largely shape the future of digital healthcare. With improved algorithms, wearable devices will provide real-time personalized health analyses and help doctors make precise diagnoses. #AI #HealthcareAI #Healthcare @RLDI_Lamy @smaksked @Khulood_Almani @thomas_dettling @Corix_JC @chidambara09 @FrRonconi @Nicochan33 @CurieuxExplorer @amalmerzouk @Timothy_Hughes @sonu_monika @mvollmer1 @HaroldSinnott @theomitsa @GlenGilmore @Shi4Tech @pchamard @antgrasso @SpirosMargaris @EstelaMandela @bimedotcom @Analytics_699 @IngridVasiliu @nafisalam @mikeflache insights.digitalgrowthcollective.com/digital-health…

The competitive edge will move to those who can integrate energy generation, carbon utilization, and industrial value chains into coherent systems.

@rashid4green The next step is turning continuous data into clinically actionable insight. That requires not only clear governance but also seamless integration into care pathways, where prevention becomes a coordinated part of the healthcare system rather than an individual activity.

@HealthTechJess What often gets overlooked is that alignment is not just about inclusion, but about integration. Embedding stakeholder perspectives directly into design and decision-making processes is what turns transformation from an initiative into sustained impact.

@DG_Collective The more I work in health tech, the more I realize the 70% failure rate stems from forgetting clinicians and patients at the center. Digital transformation is ultimately human transformation.

Digital initiatives still fall short of expectations. A key issue is the neglect of stakeholder engagement, and the fact that these stakeholders are not always clearly defined. Aligning stakeholder interests is a requirement for strategic resilience. #CEO #BoardOfDirectors #AI @RLDI_Lamy @smaksked @Khulood_Almani @thomas_dettling @Corix_JC @chidambara09 @FrRonconi @Nicochan33 @CurieuxExplorer @amalmerzouk @Timothy_Hughes @sonu_monika @mvollmer1 @HaroldSinnott @theomitsa @GlenGilmore @Shi4Tech @pchamard @antgrasso @SpirosMargaris @EstelaMandela @bimedotcom @Analytics_699 @IngridVasiliu @nafisalam @mikeflache insights.digitalgrowthcollective.com/stakeholder-en…

Agreed, @DG_Collective. Scale is the easy part to justify; credibility is not. Once expertise is decoupled from the individual, trust no longer comes from reputation alone, but from how transparently the system is designed and governed. If that layer is weak, scale doesn’t just create value, but it also amplifies risk.

Capability is often measured by what systems can do. Risk tends to emerge in how convincingly they do it. When models become persuasive rather than just functional, the challenge shifts from detection to judgment. That’s a different level of responsibility altogether. What's your take on this development? @pchamard @Khulood_Almani @antgrasso @GlenGilmore @Shi4Tech @chidambara09 @CurieuxExplorer @FrRonconi @theomitsa @Analytics_699 @Nicochan33 @nafisalam @smaksked @Corix_JC @amalmerzouk @quepasachico @IngridVasiliu @EstelaMandela @sonu_monika @RLDI_Lamy @SpirosMargaris @IanLJones98 @Timothy_Hughes @avrohomg @bimedotcom @HaroldSinnott @mvollmer1 @DG_Collective @sijlalhussain wired.com/story/ai-model…

@mikeflache As persuasion becomes a capability, control cannot rely solely on technical safeguards. It requires embedding accountability into how decisions are evaluated and acted upon—elevating governance from a technical layer to a leadership priority.

Clear priorities, and often where execution starts to drift. What I’ve recently observed: the differentiator is not defining these elements, but connecting them. Objectives, pilots, and data strategies only create value when they are tightly linked and consistently translated into operational decisions. That coherence is harder to build than any single component, but it’s where advantage actually emerges.
