There is no automated system to clean the outside of the 30 story pyramid at the Luxor in Las Vegas It’s in the middle of the desert so it frequently is covered in dust, rain stains and bird droppings The pyramid’s steep slope 39 degrees makes cleaning extremely challenging but they hire people to manually clean it Teams of typically 2 people use ropes, cables, squeegees and cleaning solutions This seeks like a job that could easily be replaced with drones and high powered washers

Still. A Cam Link, dummy battery, lens, etc. is going to add up. If the image is anywhere close to my A6000 and f1.4 Sigma lens I think I would prefer it. Kudos to a company actually trying to make this work.

This looks to be exactly what I’ve always asked for in a webcam. Get me a stripped down DSLR made for streaming instead of a beefed up webcam. I expected price would be the limiting factor. You can get a used cam + lens for around this price. amzn.to/4nu3ev1

@AlecBinks This is a great question. Built mine ~5-6 years ago and have debated when to upgrade since it's not needed but would rather plan to swap before field failure. Server side is trending for ~2-3 year replacement as we continue to outgrown them!

I love custom pc builds so much 😍🌈 ​I got to play around with this absolute beast on set and - not gonna lie - I considered "accidentally" wheeling it to my car 😅 When you see infinity rgb fans and a custom loop this clean, the tech nerd in me just loses it 🤓
