The Australian government are so disillusioned, they have forgotten we are just an Island and that the only reason we are not all speaking Japanese today, is because America saved our Island when it came under attack in WWII. My grandfather fought in that war and he said Australians were done, completely spent with nothing left in the tank, when the Americans arrived and saved us. He said the sheer number of them and their incredible firepower, had the Japanese running back home. Here is the rub. We owe a great debt to America because we wouldn’t have our Island today, if it were not for them and their continued protection over the years… until now. Nobody wants a war and not everyone likes every American President however it is ALWAYS in Australias best interest to stand with America as a strong ally. When America asked for NATO countries to assist with their war on Iran, we should have been there. We broke the alliance which kept our Island safe for almost a century and that we will regret. Europe and the UK, Albo’s besties, don’t have the capacity to defend their own countries, let alone our Island on the other side of the world. China is watching all of this unfold, rubbing its hands with glee because guess who has a mother load of critical minerals? Guess who has one of the world’s largest Gold deposits? Guess who has some of the best farming land in the world?… and just how long do you think our Island will survive on its own?

TRUMP SAYS “GET YOUR OWN OIL.” 35 NATIONS SCRAMBLE! That wasn’t a throwaway line. That was a warning. Now look at this. Australia scrambling into emergency talks. Penny Wong meeting with 30+ nations. Trying to figure out how to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. And the United States? Not even in the room. Let that sink in for a sec. The world’s most critical oil chokepoint is shut. Prices are spiking. Supply chains are tightening. And Australia is sitting in a virtual meeting… hoping diplomacy fixes what regime change created. Meanwhile Donald Trump already said it: “Get your own oil.” In other words, don’t rely on us. Don’t expect rescue. Don’t assume America will carry the weight like it always has. And suddenly the illusion breaks. Because thanks to our government Australia doesn’t have its own oil security. We don’t have the reserves. We don’t have the refining capacity. We don’t have a backup plan. So when Hormuz shuts… We don’t just watch the crisis. We are thrown into it. At the pump. On the shelves. In the cost of keeping the country running. This isn’t just a foreign policy moment. It’s a big Aussie wake-up call. Because if the message from America is “you’re on your own”… Then Australia better start doing something about it. #MikeFoster

You’re very cheap. It’s easier and cheaper for the car manufacturer to build in the heater and the. Only have the people who want to pay for it, pay for it. And for those where only needed part of the year offer them a discount for not using it that part of the year. Pay up and quit your whining.

I tried to turn on my heated car seats this morning. A pop-up on the dashboard told me my free trial had expired. I'm freezing in my own driveway because I forgot to renew my seat subscription. When did this become normal? I own the car. The heating coils are physically inside the seat. But a server in California decided my lower back doesn't deserve warmth today. To fix it, I have to download an app, create an account, and pay eight dollars a month. I refused on principle. Instead, I drove to work shivering while sitting on a microwaved towel. My coworker asked why I smelled like damp cotton. I told him I was protesting the modern economy. Tomorrow I'm supposed to buy a smart toaster. I'm terrified it will hold my bagels hostage until I watch a thirty-second ad.

#BREAKING Anthony Albanese says people used to get their news from “channel 7, 9, ABC or 10” and there would be a “consistency about it” But complains that people are now getting news from “their device, which tells them all sorts of things that aren’t true” More like we know get the truth.

Liberals have accused the PM of not submitting his message to the public while in Parliament so it can be scrutinised. Allegedly it's a pre recorded message. Parliament will not sit again till mid May. 🧐
