Because, at the end of the day, wealth means nothing if it doesn’t open up new possibilities for others.

The Mail doesn't think seem to think workers, of all ages, are worth £15 an hour. That's fair pay for a fair day's work, with money workers will put back into the economy. We are the party for workers. Vote Green on 7th May.

If the charge nurse is at the top of Band 6 they earn £50,702 in Scotland and £46,580 in England. The income tax paid in Scotland is £1597 more in Scotland. That is almost entirely because the Scottish nurse earns MORE!! Please stop repeating right wing nonsense.

The Greer-Offord face-off may prove to be a turning point in Scottish politics. It brought into the open the class envy and warfare, entitlement and miserable lack of aspiration that has lain under so much of Scottish politics for decades. It may, I hope, have lanced a boil on the body politic, exposing the SNP, Greens, Labour and Lib Dems as populist grifters, the enemies of ambition and economic growth.

Second/holiday homes are causing a housing crisis from Arran to Orkney to central Edinburgh, making life impossible for young people in particular. To discourage Offord-style hoarding, we'll set progressively higher taxes for every extra home bought by wealthy individuals.

Let me get this straight… I can buy one of the UK’s major housebuilders for less than tangible book, with a £60B future revenue land pipeline, huge institutional ownership, decades of operating history, and a strategic landbank being converted from £5.6k plots into £44k plots, while the market treats it like a dying retailer with a lease problem. Apparently land, houses and planning permissions are worth nothing now. Useful to know.

It's the SNP that want to keep the poor where they are. It's why they've degraded education and created a culture reliant on benefits and charity. There are 19 years of failure to prove it.

Housing's a human right. But the super-rich like Lord Offord are hoarding homes they don't need and pricing people out of the communities they grew up in. By freeing up more properties for people who need a home to live in we can build a housing sector that works for everyone.
