All's fair in politics and... Earlier today, ANC Eastern Cape chair Oscar Mabuyane, PS Lulama Ngcukayitobi, deputy chair Mlungisi Mvoko and treasurer Zolile Williams with NEC deployees after their meeting at Luthuli House to give a report on the postponed conference. #ANCEC

Patrice Motsepe — mining magnate, philanthropist and football club owner — is going to be the next leader of the ANC. There’s no question. He’s ethically clean, dynamic, charming, rich as Croesus and smart, writes @Bruceps. sundaytimes.timeslive.co.za/opinion-and-an…

@luphumlongcayis Liked reading but felt a bit offended by the comment on the “Limpopo ones, often not the most good looking”…..this is out of order

Then there are your tenderpreneurs. These ones are the easiest to spot. The Eastern Cape ones, who boast an awkward built in terms of their physique, they are loud in their equally loud counterfeit mainstream luxury brands clothing. An invoice or processing of payment feature prominently in their lexicon. Limpopo ones, often not the most good looking and seldom in shape and they too love their mainstream luxury brands but at least theirs are authentic. The JHB and NW aren’t homogeneous as some are quite well groomed and sophisticated though majority, if not all carry that forex traider scammer aura. KZN ones are extremes. You get the calmer ones and the obnoxious ones. Common thread among these KZN ones is that ‘I have iinkabi on standby ’. Very similar to the Mpumalanga brigade. Freestate and Northern Cape; very meak shem those ones. There’s absolutely nothing to write home about ngabo. We are about to take off. I’m sandwiched in between a chubby young white lad in his late teens who has an unhealthy relationship with garlic and whose last interaction with the shower could have only been on Friday morning. To my right is a stout black chap, first year student-eish who has just discovered cologne. Kwanga uThixo anga ndibabala ngobuthongo de siyo ngena eRhawutini.

💣👑 𝐇𝐮𝐠𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐬: I think everyone saw why I brought in Themba Zwane today, he made us play better “I think everybody saw why I put him in the team today. Timber is such a good player. He make us um better play football. But I know I knew also that he's not ready to play 90 minutes. And um we had to take attention with him and and be careful with him and not to overload him because when he should uh when we should overload him then he should have injuries. I'm I'm sure of it. So therefore that was the reason why uh he came out after 55 minutes. Um we will see next Tuesday recuperate. ”Teamwork is prevailing gents

The team was coming along nicely and if I was one of the management people, I would have let this current structure go for another season and see how it goes. While restructuring is often positioned as progress, constant changes at key leadership levels risk undoing the very stability that has started to reflect in the team’s recent performances and results. What happened after @Coach Benni McCarthy was relieved of his duties? The Club performed badly until Coach Arthur Zwane with the assistance of Coach Simo Dladla stabilised the Club. I hope all goes well

🟢 A change of approach from @AmaZuluFootball , as they reconfigure their technical operations for next season & beyond. SD Pedro Dias 🇵🇹 & assistant coach Simo Dladla departing. 🔸Sporting Director role being discontinued. 🔸A more integrated football management structure ⌛️. 🔸The duo will continue until end of the season. #HebeUsuthu

In December 2023, businessman / soccer club boss Lawrence Mulaudzi signed a $1-billion (R16.5-billion) deal with state-owned PetroSA, appointing his company Equator Holdings to fund and build pipelines and other infrastructure for a future gas industry.  Four months later though, Equator was liquidated for failing to pay a R725 000 debt to a First Division soccer player.
