@OnyxOdds It's the correct call. You can't get an 'accidental' out. The player has to intentionally catch the ball. He can bobble it all he wants, as long as means to catch it. In this case it was accidental that the ball went into the pitcher's jersey, which makes it a dead ball.

Iran just dropped the hammer! They just announced they are now charging a toll for all ships that go through the Straight of Hormuz The fee has to be paid in their local currency, and any country that participated in the war has to pay an ADDITIONAL fee. Oh and Israel is banned On top of this, they are banning ships from countries that are sanctioning Iran: 🇺🇸 🇪🇺 🇬🇧 🇨🇦 🇦🇺 🇯🇵 🇰🇷 And to make things worse, as a middle finger to Trump, they are asking all countries to call it the Strait of Persia 😂 Iran know Trump does not want to return to war, the global economy cannot afford it, and they are making the most out of the situation The effects of this war will be felt for generations to come. We're just starting to see the consequences unfold

Truly abhorrent and unimaginable behavior today at the @FedSocUCLA event that hosted a @DHSgov lawyer. Leftist students repeatedly disrupted the event, yelled profanities, shouted, made their phones ping incessantly, and eventually stormed out to a rally that violated all time, place, and manner restrictions. These students can’t handle @FedSoc event about the law, but will remain students at @UCLA_Law and eventually be admitted to the Bar. It is a damning indictment on higher education that students behave so despicably.

Boeing is already overextended with their regular orders to fill (which they are way behind on) AND the development of the F-47 (not to mention numerous other test airframes). They simply don’t have the capacity to produce the F/A-XX.

Howard County Police have released footage of a woman shooting a gas station employee during an attempted robbery in Columbia, Maryland 🔫 The shooting occurred on Friday evening at the Shell gas station on the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way. Murkowski’s approach to judicial nominations is, well, murky. She famously voted against BK for reasons that only make sense if you understand that her base is professional women in Anchorage, and the female lawyers of Alaska descended on her office in force to oppose BK. 1/6

@carleven3 @ByfieldForHart My thought exactly. Not bloody likely. Canes were 3-1 against Flyers this year. Sure Philly beat them last week, but Carolina had 7 of its top 10 players out of uniform, and Philly still barely beat them. When at full strength, the Canes smeared the Flyers all over the ice.

@NappyNoel004 @TheBrancaShow That’s wrong. The two destroyers made a full transit through the strait into the Persian Gulf, and then made a full transit back out. They dared the Iranians not once, but twice. Iran behaved just like the little mouse Khamenei.

However, independent ship-tracking data from Kpler and LSEG (reported by Reuters, NYT, BBC Verify, and Al Jazeera) shows at least 3-4 Iran-linked tankers transited the Strait of Hormuz since then. At least two (e.g., Elpis from Bushehr, Christianna from Bandar Imam Khomeini) had called at Iranian ports and were carrying Iranian petroleum products like naphtha. Enforcement details and exact oil loads remain unclear due to possible grace periods or gaps.

More than 10,000 U.S. Sailors, Marines, and Airmen along with over a dozen warships and dozens of aircraft are executing the mission to blockade ships entering and departing Iranian ports. During the first 24 hours, no ships made it past the U.S. blockade and 6 merchant vessels complied with direction from U.S. forces to turn around to re-enter an Iranian port on the Gulf of Oman. The blockade is being enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. U.S. forces are supporting freedom of navigation for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports.
