To everyone wanting to test end to end input latency follow this guide of @noodalls
x.com/noodalls/statu…
It is quite cheap and in most places will not cost you more than $20 to setup with a max error margin of 0.2 ms. He also posts all of his results on YT so subscribe :)

@Meme0ries @iamcs2kitchen @noodalls ever heard of electromagnetic interference? One of my buds had shit underground electric wiring in his apt, causing monitor refresh rate to fluctuate.
His solution? He moved out fuck out of that shit place and problem solved
English

@iamcs2kitchen @noodalls other barely 10 frags maps elo dont matter. I couldnt figure out what problem i had was but i could feel i was not sync with the game. I read every Blur Buster thread bought new PC everything but nothing gave me a consistend feeling . 2/2

@Mauisnake I can take in the fact that Donk came in 2nd place this year
Then what the fuck happened between device & simple in 2018?

@fREQUENCYCS saying stuff like no one could perceive/benefit from a higher refresh/lower gtg monitor is literally “telling me your are bad at comp shooters without telling me you are bad”
English

I have been using 240 Hz for 5 years now, and when I tried 360 Hz for the first time at a LAN last year, the difference was extremely noticeable, even at lower frame rates (although that is another topic).
I have noticed that not everyone can perceive the difference in refresh rate, but experienced players or players with many hours in a game can always tell the difference.
Keep in mind that your monitor’s refresh rate does not depend on your in-game FPS (average or 1%), and you should always use the highest Hz available for your monitor unless the difference is extremely large (for example, 360 Hz with only 60–70 FPS average in CS2, you get me).
Let’s say you have 100 FPS on average and your refresh rate is 360 Hz. Those frames will be presented to you faster simply because of the higher refresh rate, although the frame rate-to-Hz ratio is obviously not ideal.
Even if you only had 1 FPS, having a 360 Hz monitor instead of a 240 Hz one would still be an advantage purely because of its higher refresh rate.
A small reminder: your average FPS, as well as your frametime pacing and consistency, is more important than your P1 FPS.
Never look at your P1 FPS when deciding to buy a higher refresh rate monitor.
You need the highest average FPS possible and the flattest, most consistent frame times possible, which by their nature will also raise your 1% low average and other related metrics.
Higher refresh rate monitors will always be an advantage even if the user can not tell the difference ingame.

My easiest hot take of all time: Pros dont need 500hz max performance. I think past a certain refresh rate its just placebo. I cant imagine youre getting more than 5% MAX out of yourself in the jump from 180 to 500hz

@eugenio8a8 if a player is hit by any weapon while scoping, the awp would become inaccurate for a split moment, this didint exist in csgo

@beeeemooooo Havent seen anyone mentioning Hall Effect keyboards

this is a ragebait thread anyway

you know what grinds my gears? simracing games costing millions of dollars to make, and the game plays like this with gamepad (99% of the playerbase)
Gamepad controls should at least be something you prioritize because let's be real, this is how 99% of the players, who couldn't spend $500 and 2 meters of their home, plays your games.

@C0br4FPS @csgrodan169792 @FACEITcs @nocriesof Not to side with nocries here, but many so called pro players under delivered when playing on LAN, nerve and pressure can get to you, as long as hes showing the same mechanics I dont think hes cheating, numbers dont tell everything
English

You guys are being ridiculous. I mean if the #1 elo player in the region (The guy who is supposed to be literally better than everyone) fails to get close to his average stats then there is something wrong there. I am not saying if he get 23 kills instead of 25 he was cheating. I mean like if he averages 17 and 80 adr at the lan.

CS2 spray is now same as CSGO 128 tick:
Detailed thread starts here:
CS2 now follows 128 tick csgo recoil pattern
CSGO spray was frame independent, CS2 spray is now frame independent. Thank you @CounterStrike

@AzureusBlaze @Abz22293749528 @Raizycara this could be explained if you do tons of mouse lifting as a habit (handcam confirmed it), you could recreate this on a short LOD setting

@ascend0000 @LobanjicaCS @pimpwinneche I second your comment, but just sayong you dont do dual 5090 for gaming nowadays
English

Sorry for what happened to mister @pimpwinneche , its never ok to say those things even tho many of the CS streamers be using those same slangs in private all the time.
But lets not forget I just spit facts about the game and that the same guy who says game is great doesnt play it.
While he says stuff like this and backtracks quickly so he doesnt get a twitch ban. 😂

@LobanjicaCS Nice try. I hope you stay safe, and I hope you leave our community.
