I thank all our artists and creators, everyone who finds, finds within themselves the strength and inspiration – for the apt words, inspiring melodies, paintings, and shots. Those who create the Ukrainian. Who bring forth the new and preserve the heritage of the past. Who speak through the language of art about what is so close today to each of us, every Ukrainian. About everything that inspires us, everything that pains us, everything we have been through, and most importantly – about the hope that today runs through every work, every song, book, and performance. The fact that we did not give up this hope and won this spring is the shared achievement of each and every one – our military, our people who work for the state, and everyone who preserves Ukrainian identity within themselves and in their children. We have things to be proud of. We have people to be proud of. And the Shevchenko Prize proves this. Every year it takes place despite the war, despite everything. And despite everything, every year there are new deserving laureates. This award has not become a formality, and in every sense of the word it is growing – there are more nominations, more remarkable works, more reasons to be proud of our art and our creators. The @FBI and our great partners have arrested Zobaidul Amin, 28, a Bangladeshi national who has been wanted since 2022 on charges including running an international child sexual exploitation enterprise.   As of last night, Amin was transferred by FBI Anchorage from Malaysia back to the U.S. in Alaska where he will face charges later today. There will be more details to follow.    Thank you to Legat Kuala Lumpur, the Government of Malaysia, and our great local partners all over the country who assisted with the investigation and arrest. Thank you @FBIAnchorage for the outstanding work in this case.

Another 300 Ukrainian defenders are returning home from Russian captivity. Two Ukrainian civilians were also successfully returned today. Among them are servicemembers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and our State Border Guard Service. Privates, sergeants, and officers. They defended Ukraine in various sectors – Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and in Mariupol. Most of them had been in captivity for more than a year, some since 2022. I thank all our warriors who ensure this result by replenishing the exchange fund for Ukraine. I thank the entire team that worked to achieve this result. I am grateful to the United States for their mediation. It is important that the agreements have worked. We remember everyone, and we must bring all our people home.
