@ianeditz @AmazonUK @Epson There was an article in the guardian about this last year. which & other groups have called for the UK Competitions and Markets Authority to investigate but nothing has happened. I switched to a Brother printer to avoid this.

Day 2 and nobody is denying what happened. I bought ink from @AmazonUK and then my printer grassed me up over the internet and @Epson deliberately and maliciously sent a firmware update to my printer to prevent it connecting to my WiFi network. It's absolutely outrageous

@PSOSTayside Can you please inform your drivers that automatic daytime lights on cars do NOT always work the rear lights. Very foggy in Montrose & your vehicle was unlit at the rear & hard to see

@RBS_Help we need 2 signatures on your digital business banking form but it won’t let me add both signatures. I go to add the second one and it automatically changes the first signature to match the second. Any ideas?

@rachelgmarks @archer_rs @seatsixtyone The first class lounge at Euston is only available for 1 hour prior to departure. Considering you board the train 30 minutes before departure that’s not particularly useful. You used to get a lot longer. But it is definitely less hassle than flying!

@archer_rs @seatsixtyone Important if saying it's too expensive to note this is the most expensive cabin, you're getting 1st class travel, access to 1st class lounge, and B&B accommodation. Plus you don't have to get to the airport/park. When you factor in the reduced environmental impact, pretty cheap.

Caledonian Sleeper tonight to London. Eurostar to Paris Wednesday afternoon. So much more pleasant than flying and the new double bed set up in the sleeper is so very comfortable. Pictures @seatsixtyone

@ianeditz I could have a quick look if you wanted to pm me the contract? I’m a building/contracts/adjudicator. It might just give you a different option if it’s included in the contract.

@ianeditz What form of contract was it? Many of them include adjudication which is an alternative to going to court.

In our contract with our builder it specifies that we must seek mediation if things go wrong. Their shoddy work so far has cost us around £15k and the total bill for remedial works is likely to be nearer £30K. We employed a mediator but they have refused to engage with her.

@hackman_dr @WMFireDogs We taught our dog the word Step. When we said that she would reach out with a paw to feel ahead for a kerb or a step.

@WMFireDogs Sorry to hear this. My dog went blind suddenly- he coped well but kerbs tripped him so I taught him warning words for when an up or down kerb was coming up. I also wore a small bell necklace so he could hear where I was when out on a walk and he was off lead.

Today is the third day of Kai’s new life as a blind dog. I don’t know how long this will be for, or where this story goes, but I do know he wagged his tail more today than yesterday 🙏🏼 I’m looking for #blinddogtoys, this is new to us, any suggestions or recommendations??

@CalSleeper You used to get 2 hours use of the First Class lounge at Euston. Just tried to get in only to be told it is now only 1 hour. I was going landing on getting some work done in comfort before boarding.

@OurMindsNotURS I have 2 elderly dogs who’s time is limited. I found a vet that will pts at the end of the day in the vets & allow 2 family members to be present. Some vets understand what this means to you.
