@Bonniepurple We thought we couldn't but when our last car was nearing the point of death we went to a showroom to see what was around and were very surprised at how reasonable the second hand deals were. On the other hand we can't afford solar panels yet. 😂

Our monthly direct debit for electricity has just gone down by £20. 8 months ago we bought an EV and installed a home charger, so our domestic energy costs have been cut and £80-£100 we used to spend monthly on petrol has just vanished from our budget. BUT... (continues)
