God sent @s_m_marandi as a light in this darkness

In the wild, there are no holidays—survival doesn’t pause, and neither does the effort to protect it. Yesterday, on Good Friday, the Mara Conservancy Vet Unit attended to an adult male giraffe in Mara North Conservancy, near Karen Blixen Camp. He was struggling to move, burdened by a large swelling on his left hind limb. Examination revealed a large abscess which, when lanced, released copious amounts of pus. The wound was thoroughly flushed. The injury, suspected to have been caused by a spear or arrow wound that later dislodged, was treated with systemic antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication, and the giraffe was successfully released back into the wild. Let’s all commit to protecting and safeguarding Kenya’s incredible wildlife for generations to come. Let’s choose coexistence. Karibu, Tutunze Twiga Wetu Pamoja! #ThrivingWildlifeForever

How a Finnish businessman’s death story cost me my eye Etukuri says inside the same safe house, there were about 14 people detained, some had been reported missing for the last eight months, but access to them was heavily restricted, and that while at ISO headquarters, he met Kaka face-to-face for the first time. This is not a case against @SpireJim. It’s a case against the people he speaks for, against our right to voice our grievances and concerns. I love this solidarity 🥹 as some are taking on the impunity of the giraffe online, others are sharing evidence and others offering legal skills🙏

Dennis Zziwa, a second-year law student from Kampala International University, portrayed Jesus Christ during the "Way of the Cross" walk at Our Lady of Africa Church on Good Friday. He sustained injuries from the beatings as he acted the role of Jesus Christ and was treated by Red Cross staff. He was later transferred to Lamone Health Center in Luzira for further treatment. #NTVNews 📷 Stephen Otage
