🧵 1/ Let’s be clear about Charlie Kirk’s legacy. His rhetoric wasn’t just “politics as usual.” It echoed, sanitized, and amplified Great Replacement-style fears, and that’s racist, even if he insisted it was “about Democrats.”

But Nick you don’t “interview those who use the word genocide”. I’m one of the most prominent British genocide scholars and I called Israel’s genocide in October 2023. I’ve had a lot of international media attention but my BBC total in 30 months is one interview on Radio Ulster.
Nick Robinson@bbcnickrobinson

Simple answer Zack. Our job is to report. We interview you & those you quote who use the word genocide. We do the same for those who disagree. We also report that no international court has yet made a judgment. Nor has the UN. That’s not me or the BBC taking sides or downplaying what’s happened in Gaza. It’s doing our job.

I would note again that Ukrainians abroad are not burning down Russian cultural centers or Russian schools worldwide. Even though they certainly have plenty of reasons to do so. But “anti-Zionists” (sic!) burning ambulances in London just because they have a Star of David on it – that’s always on the table. That’s why I don’t believe in any “anti-Zionism.” It’s simply antisemitism that has once again become acceptable. I myself, to put it mildly, am not thrilled with Israel’s policies in recent times. And many people aren’t thrilled with U.S. policies either. So what – are people burning anything American in Europe? Not really.

IAEA - International Atomic Energy Agency ⚛️
The IAEA is aware of reports of an incident in the city of Dimona, Israel, involving a missile impact and has not received any indication of damage to the nuclear research center Negev. Information from regional States indicates that no abnormal radiation levels have been detected. Closely monitoring the situation, Director General @RafaelMGrossi stressed that "maximum military restraint should be observed, in particular in the vicinity of nuclear facilities".

The condition of a young boy wounded by an Iranian ballistic missile impact in Dimona has worsened, medical officials say. The Magen David Adom ambulance service says it treated a total of 23 people who were injured by the missile impact, including the boy and a woman in her 30s in moderate condition, along with 21 others lightly hurt. Soroka Hospital in Beersheba says it received the 12-year-old, and his condition is serious after he was hit by shrapnel. Several others are being treated at Soroka in good condition. The missile, which carried a large warhead, caused damage to homes and other buildings in the area, according to rescue services.

This is some seriously big news Iran reportedly fired off two ballistic missiles at the joint U.S.–U.K. base on Diego Garcia island in the Indian Ocean and that’s nearly 4,000 kilometers away from Iran!!

The Iranian theory of the war boils down to "everyone else has a lot more to lose than we do". A question that should follow: what if that's true, but it doesn't end up mattering on a timetable that's helpful to the regime? There's a scenario in which the world staggers out of this with a prolonged energy crisis that does enormous damage to the global economy *and* things end very, very badly for the regime and Iran as a whole.

@Non_Hyperbole @aliimortada Because of people like you, we are the most brutal and deadly in the world against our enemies. Because we know what you want to do to us, and that is why we destroy you before you even begin to come close to us.

YA ALI. South Lebanon is empty of half a million Shiites. Beirut is empty of half a million Shiites. Israel is destroying Shiite villages and neighborhoods. Israel is killing dozens of Tezbollah militants every day. And you are happy that one Israeli soldier was injured? This proves that you are desperate and know what is going to happen very soon.

@RealPepeEscobar @la77465262 You lying twisted immoral imbecile. Larijani oversaw the massacre of tens of thousands of his own citizens. So the fact that he had a PhD or read Kant mattered little to the people whose lives he destroyed. You are truly vile.

Just to kill Larijani at his daughter's house, the Epstein Syndicate bombed AN ENTIRE RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD near Teheran. At least one hundred CIVILIANS were murdered with him. Murdered by barbarians who proud themselves of not reading anything - like neo-Caligula. Larijani wrote books on mathematics and Kantian philosophy. Functionally illiterate Barbaria can only excel when it comes to killing sprees.

1. He was not a criminal- no convictions and no evidence of charges. Being arrested alone does not make someone a criminal in the U.S. 2. He was not here illegally- he had a pending asylum claim. His parole expiring is irrelevant. 3. ICE routinely denies medical care to people in ICE detention as evident by all the pending class action lawsuits brought by people in ICE custody- another example is Emmanuel Damas, a 56-year-old Haitian man seeking asylum who died in ICE custody in Arizona on March 2, 2026, from a severe, untreated tooth infection. 4. The claim that there is “no record” of military service is also questionable. DHS does not maintain those records. Documentation of Afghan partners typically sits with the Department of Defense, the State Department, and the Special Immigrant Visa and Chief of Mission processes. Claims that there is “no record” often reflects a failure to check those interagency systems. All of the above also have absolutely nothing to do with how a healthy, 41 yo, father of 6, died less than 24 hours after entering ICE custody. DHS is more focused on smearing a man who can no longer defend himself instead of explaining what happened to him in their custody. If DHS spent as much time figuring out what happened in their custody as they are trying to smear and discredit a dead man, we might already have answers for his family.
Homeland Security@DHSgov

Mohammad Nazeer Paktiawal, a criminal illegal alien, entered the U.S. under the Biden administration’s Operation Allies Refuge in August 2021 and provided NO RECORD of military service. His criminal history includes arrests for fraudulent use of food stamps and theft. His parole expired on August 20, 2025. ICE arrested him on March 13, 2026. During intake at the Dallas Field Office, he complained of shortness of breath and chest pain and was IMMEDIATELY transported by EMS to Parkland Hospital. After treatment, his condition worsened the next day, and hospital medical staff initiated CPR. At approximately 9:10 a.m. CDT, a physician pronounced him deceased following multiple resuscitation efforts. No one in ICE custody is denied access to medical care. ICE provides comprehensive medical, dental, and mental health services, including access to appointments and 24-hour emergency care, from the moment an alien enters custody.

@RediTlhabi Nice framing jihadi Tlhabi. Lebanon is not officially at war with Israel. The Lebanese govt has repeatedly condemned actions that drag the country into conflict. The ongoing hostilities are between Israel and Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant group operating within Lebanon.
