@DavidLammy I imagine it's not very peaceful being stabbed to death whilst the police try to arrest you either. What a cretinous thing to write, demonstrative of your failure to be in touch with reality.

The right to peaceful protest is a cornerstone of our democracy, but there is never any justification for attacking police officers, intimidating communities or descending into violent disorder. These sentences for those rioting in Southampton last week send a clear message that violence on our streets will never be tolerated and you should expect to feel the full force of the law. I pay tribute to the officers who put themselves in harm’s way to protect the public.

@hm_custserv I guess the service is not your focus then. All I got was an autobot. Apparently I spoke to a real person but they sounded like a bot too. I was told that I would get an update but that's two days ago. Shocking.

Why is it so rare to hear people say they’re proud of Keir Starmer? The UK economy is showing clear signs of stabilisation under Labour, yet praise remains quiet. Is it classic British cynicism? Or are we simply not used to a Prime Minister who focuses on the day job instead of chasing headlines?🇬🇧

These are tough election results for Labour and I’m sorry to all of those colleagues who have lost their seats. Keir Starmer won a mandate to change our country. We must get on with delivering that mandate - and show how politics can improve people’s lives for the better.

@AngelaRayner Let us down, like you did Angela. I guess your hard upbringing made you forget where you came from, the working class people and made you greedy with a chip on your shoulder.

No matter what they say, Reform UK will only let down the working class. They voted against our better deal for workers. With your support, we got it done. Only Labour will work for working people. Vote Labour 🌹

@UKLabour But putting so many more people in it. How are working people and pensioners supposed to afford to live with the increased cost of living. @UKLabour this is the most depressing time I have ever known in my lifetime. @Keir_Starmer you and your party should be ashamed.

Tackling child poverty is a moral duty. That’s why I’m ending the two child limit - so every child has the chance to thrive. This will lift hundreds of thousands out of poverty and help break the cycle of disadvantage for good.
