when the traffic is distributed across many users, you’re no longer looking at a "security" problem you’re looking at a scalability and performance problem.
If 10k different users are asking for the exact same sorted list of products every minute, hitting the database every time is a waste of resources. Simple caching and indexing will be a good thing to implement

Bro, what do you think about guys who just use Swagger for docs? Like, throw in some annotations and it auto generates the interactive UI where you can even test the endpoints. Does that count as proper documentation for you, or you still want self documenting code and comments everywhere? How do you usually handle it in your projects? Presently I use swagger docs only for its simplicity

as a backend engineer looking to upskill in 2026. I highly recommend that you learn golang.
nodejs concurrency model abstracts a lot of stuff and is not fully multi-threaded like golang.
you will not experience a lot of the quirks and issues that comes with writing truly multi-threaded code.

1. Wake Up & Pray
2. Start Working
3. Order Food & Eat
4. Continue Working
5. Press Phone Small
6. If babe dey, nack
7. Continue Working
8. Realize I haven’t bathed since morning
9. Bath & Return to Work
10. Move laptop to bed
11. Eat night food (cooked by me or by babe if e dey)
12. Move laptop back to desk
13. Fall asleep on the couch watching TV
14. Wake up at 3AM to finally enter bed
