@UKVolkswagen I was about to purchase a new VW Caddy Life Maxi 116PS 1.5 TSI 7sp DSG 2026 with a view to having Lewis Reed undertake a WAV disabled access conversion to it. They have advised me that the vehicle I have (VIN: WV2ZZZSK3TX028694 ) does not have IS2, which I understand is an interface). Unfortunately Lewis Reed cannot undertake the conversion I had hoped for if IS2 is not installed. I called VW Retrofit who said the code on the 2025/2026 is completely blocked so a retrofit is completely impossible. Can you please clarify before I make a very expensive purchasing error. 3:52 PM

@UKVolkswagen I should clarify that the vehicle I was interested in is already at your Edinburgh showroom. I was hoping to pay for the vehicle tomorrow and collect next week.

@UKVolkswagen After all, why would VW not enable their vehicles to be converted or retro fitted with a piece of software or equipment that then enables them to be converted to a WAV? This would be sales madness.

People like teachers or small craft or home businesses or indeed charity workers that don't want or need to open a business account are hugely inconvenienced by your policy. @SnopakeBrands

@karmamobility I am trying to specify approx 10 different wheelchairs from your ranges. I am using your website and cannot tell you how confusing and unhelpful this is. Incorrect images shown on various pages etc. We ended up having to call your office 01527 520 468 today and yesterday and spoke with Yasuca and Maki respectively. Whilst lovely people, it was hugely difficult to understand their accents and for them to grasp our issues.

@sageuk Thank you for your reply, albeit factually inaccurate. In fact, this very feature was included in the system functionality some years ago and was purposefully removed without any consultation with customers.

@RedRocksNH We’ve looked into this and understand your concerns around personalising the experience when managing employee details. While the ability to view photos during monthly hours entry hasn’t been part of the system’s functionality, we appreciate you raising it and have shared 1/2

@sageuk Just been advised that whilst you can upload employee photos to files, these photos are no longer visible when entering their monthly hours which doesn't enable us to treat / deal with staff on a personal level. So yet again, paying more for less, and with increasing numbers of glitches. Suggest using an alternative payroll system provider - Sage is just getting worse and worse.
