@andrewmichta @MikeKubus Respectfully, I think we at my university have a good bead on the threat Russia is to the int’l system, both from systemic revisionism and malicious cyber behavior. We don’t suffer the WH delusion that Russia is a BFF or that a country with a GDP < Canada is a better bet than EU.

@MikeKubus I’m afraid you are right. We have lost most of our expertise on Russia. Unlike during the Cold War, Area Studies are no longer a pathway to tenure at American universities.
