@nut_history Being left-handed if i had the arm to do it Catcher. Minimal turning of the body to throw to most bases and definitely a better angle to throw to pick runners off 1B

@bryansmith7326 @YankeeSource That's the problem. They don't spend time scouting or developing players, mostly developing players, that can hit. Volpe is a case in point. The kid has some pop but should be concentrating on putting the ball in play and using all field & his speed. Not everybody is a HR hitter

@davidrifkin I liken teams in any sport that rely so heavy on analytics to judge players to the NFL when they draft players who have a great workout at the combine and you later find out they can't play the game worth crap.

@davidrifkin I feel like they're very good at putting square pegs into round holes in it they try to turn every hitter into a slugger when not every hitter is a slugger & and throwers with no movement aren't as effective as pictures with movement. Need to adjust the philosophies
