@hemantmehta This is better right? I’m sure you would not have a problem with painting the national forests with this liberal nonsense. Just like the always one sided daily tripe you spew. So predictable. So lame. So sad.

English

"One hundred and ninety-three million acres of your national forests. An area larger than Texas. The largest public land agency in the country. Just handed, on a silver platter, to the people who’ve spent their entire careers trying to destroy it.
And they did it with a press release on a Tuesday."

If you’re 17 and can’t afford to keep your girl’s nails and hair done, you aren’t ready for a relationship. You’re just a hobbyist.
Men are providers by nature. If you’re training him to be cheap at 17, he’s going to be a dusty at 30. Better she learns to ask now than settle for less later. Let that boy get a summer job and step up."
English

Little girls are being taught very early to ask boys for things that don’t make sense. My nephew is 17 and preparing for college, and he recently broke up with his girlfriend because he felt she was constantly asking him for things he couldn’t reasonably provide.
Why is a 17-year-old being asked for nail money, hair money, and shopping money? Where are the parents? And why are we allowing young girls to think this kind of behavior is normal or acceptable?

there’s a great joke that goes something like
A judge tells a condemned prisoner, “You will be executed at noon on one day next week, and the execution will be a surprise.”
The prisoner reasons:
“If I’m still alive by Friday morning, then it has to be Friday, so it wouldn’t be a surprise. Therefore it can’t be Friday.
But if it can’t be Friday, then if I’m still alive by Thursday morning, it has to be Thursday, so that wouldn’t be a surprise either. Therefore it can’t be Thursday.
And by the same reasoning, it can’t be Wednesday, Tuesday, or Monday.”
So the prisoner concludes the execution cannot happen at all.
Then the guards come Wednesday, and execute him. He is, in fact, surprised.

Read what you just wrote.
"It was an atrocity. But you started it. But you lost."
You just proved the entire point.
You acknowledged it was an atrocity, and then immediately surrounded that acknowledgment with conditions that make it acceptable.
Starting a war does not strip a civilian population of protection from mass killing. That is not an opinion. That is the Geneva Convention. That is the foundational logic of international humanitarian law developed specifically in response to World War II.
The civilians of Hiroshima and Nagasaki did not start the war. They were not soldiers. They were not combatants. They were families. And "you lost" is not a moral category that retroactively justifies burning children alive.
The fact that you can say "it was an atrocity" and "it was justified" in the same breath, without feeling the contradiction, that is exactly the two-tiered framework I described.
You just demonstrated it while arguing against it.
English

Ask an American about the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
A substantial portion will tell you it was necessary.
Tragic, but necessary.
It ended the war.
It saved lives.
Hard choices in impossible circumstances.
Now ask them how they would feel if another country had done it to an American city.
Watch the framework collapse in real time.
Suddenly "necessary" is not a category that applies.
Suddenly there are no hard choices and impossible circumstances.
Suddenly it is simply: a crime. An act of war. An atrocity.
This is not hypocrisy in the ordinary sense.
This is a two-tiered moral universe so deeply internalized that most people living inside it cannot see the structure at all.
Violence done to Americans is atrocity by definition.
Violence done by Americans requires context. Requires understanding. Requires a discussion of the strategic situation.
This is the psychological furniture.
This is what empire builds inside the people who benefit from it.
And it is almost invisible from the inside.

🚨HORRIFYING🚨
Jurors will listen to the audio of 7-year-old Athena Strand being strangled to death by FedEx driver Tanner Horner.
Horner pleaded guilty to capital murder, but a juror will decide if he should be sentenced to death.
Strand told the child, “Don't scream or I'll hurt you,” as he picked her up and put her in his truck.
The child tried to fight Strand off during the attack—his DNA was found under her nails.
Prosecutors added that his DNA was found, “in places where you shouldn't find DNA on a 7-year-old girl.”
The girl’s mother is for the death penalty being implemented.

You’re not getting Medicare for All. You made damn sure of that when leftists like you let republicans hijack the Supreme Court in 2016. I remember you specifically campaigning with Jill Stein in the swing states. We might’ve had universal healthcare if yall weren’t around
Nina Turner@ninaturner
If Democrats fought for Medicare for all the way they fight against @hasanthehun, maybe things would get done.

@PrishaMosley It’s hilarious, because that is also Voldemort’s mentality and we used to all understand this as pure evil:

Who benefits when we teach kids that all villains are just misunderstood and there’s no evil?

First look at Cinderella in ‘STEPS’, voiced by Amanda Seyfried. The film follows Cinderella’s evil stepsisters who are actually depicted as kind & misunderstood. Releasing later this year on Netflix.
