red light therapy sounds like complete pseudoscience until you actually read the 5,000+ peer reviewed studies on photobiomodulation. then it sounds like cheating the mechanism is simple. red and near-infrared light (630-850nm) penetrates your skin and is absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase in your mitochondria. this directly increases ATP production in every cell the light touches. more energy per cell. that's it. that's the whole mechanism - accelerates wound healing and tissue repair. used in burn units and post-surgical recovery - reduces joint pain and inflammation. multiple studies on arthritis and tendinopathy - increases testosterone when applied to the testes. yes really. a study showed 120% increase in T levels with testicular light exposure - improves skin collagen density and reduces wrinkles. dermatologists use it but charge $300 per session - enhances muscle recovery and reduces delayed onset soreness - improves thyroid function in hashimoto's patients enough to reduce medication dosage in clinical trials you don't need a $1,200 panel. a $60 red light bulb from amazon with the right wavelength (660nm red + 850nm near infrared) works on the same physics use it 10-15 minutes on target area from about 6-12 inches away. morning is ideal. don't wear eye protection unless pointed at face. consistency matters more than session length the fitness influencers made this look like a gimmick by posing shirtless in front of $3,000 panels. the actual research is decades old, military funded, and more robust than most pharmaceuticals on the market

The underreported story of the Euro love for America is that all these dudes are getting so much puss because American women are suckers for accents.

Been experimenting with cupping on the 2in rolling handle with just a loading pin off the ground vertically. Im limited to about 100lbs total of pancakes + pin & handle until I get a taller pin unfortunately.

@Leather_LaceATL @middle_class_us Food stamps has effectively ended. A lot more than 51% lost it and recipients are getting a couple of dollars every few months. So much like section 8 it is effectively eliminated.

SNAP participation has fallen by 51%. The government is calling it proof the economy is improving. But credit card debt is at record highs. Food banks are serving more people than during COVID. One in three Americans skipped a meal this year. Consumer sentiment is at an 80 year low. People stopped getting food stamps because the paperwork got harder and the offices processing it are understaffed. The hunger didn't go away. Just the benefits.

My first working set is usually my weakest. After a warm-up and a feeler set, I often perform better on sets 2 and 3. Seems like this would be the opposite. Are your later sets usually better or worse than your first working set?

And yet, these people will do everything they can to live around us. Importing people who hate us is the most malicious thing any government could do.

I dropped a huge slice of butter on my steak at dinner and the guy next to me gasped like I just committed a crime. Ten minutes later I watched that exact same guy eat a protein bar with twenty chemical ingredients he could not even pronounce. Butter built healthy humans for thousands of years. Granola bars were invented to sit on a shelf for five years without rotting. We did not get smarter about food we just got brainwashed by clever packaging. What is one natural food you used to be terrified of because of bad marketing?

First, can we admit that the US system is broken??? Assuming you’re a normal human being, we can all admit yes for that answer. Can we admit that Obamacare was a disaster for most Americans? Yeah we are normal so we can admit that too. Can we admit that seniors would die before giving up Medicare ?? Yeah we can admit that too. So that’s where we’re at. I believe competition will drive down costs But how do we get more competition into this field? If Seniors would go nuts if you pulled Medicare , than doesn’t it make sense that all Americans would benefit a similar system??? I’d love to hear independent feedback, not partisan bullshit

@Diet0Nutrition Obesity is not a disease at all. It was only "declared" a disease in 2013 so organizations could petition for funding to "study" it. Obesity is plainly a symptom of metabolic dysfunction driven by mitochondrial destruction. High glycemic loads + oxidized fats = train wreck.

@HannahDCox I’m 39 already have hpv and had a hysterectomy due to precancerous cells because of it and I was still recommended to get it last year. Only thing is as an adult it’s 3 shots instead of 2. But I had no issues. It’ll still protect you against strains you haven’t been exposed to.

@SapphireStare @HannahDCox HPV clears naturally in most people (~90% within 1-2 years); only persistent high-risk infections lead to cancer (decades later). Check out the study that article is about, you will see there were 0 deaths among the unvaccinated either because the study was done in young girls.

@HannahDCox My mom did the same thing to me and I’m going to get it because I know someone who was just diagnosed with cervical cancer and was very monogamous. It’s not something to be concerned about they have the data.
