Last week, I was involved in a serious car accident in Missouri and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital. I’m deeply grateful for the exceptional care I have received, from the first responders to the doctors, nurses and medical staff. I’m incredibly fortunate to be writing this.
As a result of the accident, I sustained significant injuries, including multiple fractures and broken ribs. I also underwent a life-saving amputation of my left arm. While I have a long road ahead, I’m focused on my recovery and taking things one day at a time.
Thank you for the overwhelming support, prayers and kind messages — they have meant so much to me and my family during this time.
I look forward to continuing my recovery and getting back to ESPN to talk football, including what should be an exciting 2027 NFL Draft class.

Golden State has interest in Sacramento’s Domantas Sabonis & DeMar DeRozan. Warriors are looking to move Jimmy Butler’s $56M expiring contract. #NBA

It's funny watching Liberals argue it was "the cars driving down the center!" There is no damage in the center. Period. Only along the sides where these leftist pricks could ruin it.
Also, Peroxide didn't ruin it. Emily Miller spoke to the contractor and was told to hold off on reporting it. The contractor discovered the cut section when they arrived the next day around the time of filling. The interview was recorded long before all of this became news.
All Liberals do is hate the country, try to destroy everything in it, and then blame everyone else for their BS.

Jim, you are truly one of the dumbest individuals to have ever existed.
Please seek professional help.

Went looking for the 300 foot “slit” or “slits” in the reflecting pool Trump keeps lying about. Didn’t find any of that. But did find plenty of signs the paint on the bottom of the pool has simply disintegrated. My latest pool report.

@anthonyVslater Welcome to Santa Cruz, Lajae! We need some ballers with the Sea Dubs.

I have zero managing experience in @MLB. Having said that I promise you this…if I would to be hired tomorrow as the new @SFGiants manager this gay bullshit would disappear the next day. Most players would be on the train to AA. And I would hire my own staff.
I would bring back all the old school guys from the championship era to be a part of the coaching staff, & request some for front office positions. My players will learn how to win, play for each other, & take pride in kicking the shit out of the opposing team.
Any player that disrupts the chemistry in the clubhouse will simply be gone or not play for me. He’d rot on the pine.
In 3 years I’d have this organization not only in the playoffs…but a World Series contender.
It’s not always talent. It’s the guys in the clubhouse pulling for each other & playing to win. Not just trying to get their stats to get paid.

@kings_muse I'm sure it was not anywhere near as depressing as Acuff felt getting drafted by Sac.
English

@fadule_ I remember feeling this way when I was 20-22.
By the time I was 25 I was done with it. Once you’re close to 30, you ruin the next 24-48 hours if you get drunk. Assuming you are a tank and not some lightweight who gets drunk off 5 beers.
English

Benefits of drinking:
-hilarious situational laughs that add years to your life
-being 7 beers deep in the Sun with your friends realizing you almost forgot the point of life is to have fun with people who make you happy
-3 bottles of wine with your wife then smashing all night without a condom (lasting 975% longer)
-heartwarming couples dinners hugging goodnight thinking ‘I’m so glad we did this’
-concerts with your girlfriend and friends making lifelong memories favorite songs slapping mythologically
-backyard party watching your girlfriend hit it off with your Aunt while your friends and Uncles plan a road trip to a Big 10 football game “Hanging By A Moment” by Lifehouse jamming in the background wanting to freeze time and live this day every day the rest of your life realizing ‘wow life is a miracle I’m so lucky to be alive’

Tonight I will vote present on the War Powers resolution.
My opinion on the debate over war and executive power has not changed and I have voted that way several times.
But since hostilities seem to be over and the President asked me to give consideration to his negotiating position, I will do so.
My vote of present is a way to give the President more space and leverage to negotiate a lasting peace.

@TheDunkCentral @timkawakami When teams say stupid shit like this they lose credibility. If he was your 2nd rated player then you aren't good at your job.
English

The only player the Warriors had rated higher than Yaxel Lendeborg on their draft board was Cam Boozer, per @timkawakami
“One team source indicated that the Warriors had Lendeborg rated about even with Burries and only had Duke’s Cam Boozer clearly placed on a higher level in this draft.”

Josh Hokit responds to the backlash surrounding his comments about Michelle Obama at the White House:
"I thought I was giving her a compliment. I don't think anyone viewed it as Michelle Obama being a man. It's more like she knows how to deal with adversity, she knows how to work hard like a man when the times get tough.
It was a perfect opportunity to show the world how great this country is with freedom of speech... In other parts of the world, you say something like that and you die.
That's one thing about my career... You'll never hear me backtrack from what I say."

@GoodmanHoops @TheFieldOf68 I have no problem with Dusty May, Scheyer or any other coach getting a shot...They are great coaches. But the fact that these coaches are getting jobs and serious interests before Mark Jackson is criminal.
English

Michigan coach Dusty May is expected to take the Dallas Mavericks job, source confirmed to @TheFieldOf68.
May is coming off a national title in his second season at Michigan, and also took FAU to the Final Four.
Duke's Jon Scheyer also had major interest, but had opted to stay in Durham, source told @TheFieldOf68. .

This umpire gave this kid and his team two warnings for throwing the bat at the catcher.
He told them if it happened again they were going to get ejected from the game.
Well….it happened again.
The batter hit the ball back to the pitcher and the pitcher overthrew first base. But, the umpire called a dead ball and called the batter out and ejected him from the game.
The coach came out to argue and said the batter didn’t throw the bat, that it was a regular follow through on the back swing. He told the umpire they had it on film. The umpire said he had it on film too.
Then the third base coach came down to argue and the umpire told the coach he was wrong and that he had it on video.
You can hear the parents screaming at him.
Some people said that was a terrible call and he let go legally on the follow through. You can also hear them tell the umpire that he had it out for that kid. 🤯
But a lot of people sided with the ump and said he handled it well and with that many warnings that it was a fantastic call. 💯
The umpire gave the same kid two prior warnings. Even if it wasn’t intentional, there has to be consequences after a third time. He could seriously injure the catcher. This will help the batter in the future hopefully.
What do you think? Was this the right or wrong call?

For those that keep asking why people dislike Wyndham Clark:
Fans dislike Wyndham Clark primarily due to his history of on-course outbursts and temper issues, which many see as disrespectful to the game, venues, and traditions of golf.
Key Incidents Fueling the Dislike
• 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont: After missing the cut, Clark damaged two lockers in the clubhouse in a fit of anger. This led to him being suspended/banned from the prestigious club, widespread media backlash, and fan outrage over the lack of respect for a historic venue. He has since apologized, called it a “terrible” mistake not reflective of who he is, paid for damages, and expressed a desire to win back fans.
• Driver-throwing at the 2025 PGA Championship: He flung his driver in frustration after a poor shot, nearly hitting a volunteer and damaging sponsor signage. This came shortly before the Oakmont incident and drew comparisons to other poor behavior (e.g., worse than Rory McIlroy’s tee marker incident in some fans’ eyes).
These events painted him as immature or entitled, especially given his relative success (2023 U.S. Open winner) but inconsistent major performances otherwise. Golf traditionally values composure and respect for the course/clubhouse, so such visible anger stands out negatively.
Other Contributing Factors
• Perceived arrogance or cockiness: Some fans feel his confidence (post-U.S. Open comments about shrinking PGA Tour fields, for example) comes across as smug, especially when results haven’t always matched the attitude. He has a strong ball-striking game and mental health story (overcoming struggles), but interviews and demeanor rub people the wrong way.
• Recent rules/play situations: At the ongoing 2026 U.S. Open (as of recent reports), a relief drop on the 17th hole (involving loose impediments and a TV platform) was seen by critics as gamesmanship, even though rules officials cleared it. This adds to the “villain” narrative for some.
• General polarization: Golf fans often crave “vanilla” pros; Clark’s fiery personality makes him a lightning rod. Some love the edge (he can be entertaining and competitive when hot), while others see him as a “spoiled brat” or unlikeable.
Clark has acknowledged the backlash, worked on his mental game (including with a sports psychologist after team interventions), and is actively trying to show a better side—being more outgoing and competitive without the meltdowns. Some articles defend him as a needed “anti-hero” with personality in an otherwise bland tour, and there’s evidence of growing support or redemption arcs among fans.
In short, it’s mostly the temper and perceived lack of class that turned many against him, amplified by social media and golf’s etiquette standards. In short; he’s a brokedick.

There have been several arrests at the reflection pond for vandalism and many ongoing investigations. This thing about the cameras is a fake talking point being spread on this platform and across social media. Deranged leftists are trying to destroy a national monument becuase they hate Trump. That’s the facts. Don’t fall for the fake narrative.
Alex Cole@acnewsitics
There is a 24 hour live camera on the reflecting pool but somehow MAGAs think some invisible Democrat went there and sabotaged the shitty paint job. 😂
