Our members have started arriving in Belém for #COP30 to add their voice, demanding for climate justice and meaningful youth participation and engagement in #climateaction implementation.

People in the Middle East deserve to live without fear, to raise their children without the sound of bombs, to return home without wondering when they have to flee again. The @UN & I will spare no effort in striving for the peaceful future this region so richly deserves.

It was a privilege to deliver remarks at the 11th edition of the annual Energy Summit, where I emphasized that Europe’s leadership has never been more essential.   The world is facing a decisive moment.   Europe must choose: accelerate the shift to clean, secure, homegrown energy — or remain vulnerable to crises they cannot control. Grid upgrades, affordable finance, resilient supply chains & a just transition aren’t optional. As SG @antonioguterres underlined today, there is no sustainable peace without sustainable development. In 2026 we are determined to work to keep the promise of the #SDGs for women and youth leaving no one behind.

Climate change is inflaming tensions over resources, forcing people from their homes & tearing at our ecosystems. Vulnerability anywhere becomes a risk everywhere – for financial systems, supply chains & global stability. That's why climate justice is an investment in peace.

In 2025, I saw how young people across Latin America are strengthening democracy and shaping a more inclusive, sustainable future. They are deeply committed, leading in their communities, and building bridges across generations!

1.1 billion people live in multidimensional poverty. Ending poverty is not charity — it is justice, dignity, human rights and an investment in peace. Let’s act to #endpoverty and keep the promise of the SDGs.

The @UN SG @antonioguterres has called for everyone on earth to be covered by a multi-hazard early warning system by 2027. We are working with our partners to make it a reality.
