A philosophical question. If you work for the rich and earn a wage that doesn't allow you to own anything as all your money goes back to them to pay for basic essentials to live. How is that different to slavery?

What the world needs is very simple, the great reset. Erase all debts. Erase the banks. Erase the Stock Markets. Return everything to the people and have a system where it can never be stolen again. Then start anew, fair and square for everyone.

If I lost a brain cell every time I saw someone claim that Universal Basic Income was communism, I'd have become stupid enough to say it myself. AI is here. Jobs are being automated. And capitalism requires consumers with money to spend. Consider where this is going without UBI.

@gabriel1 Interviews at times are unrealistic. I urged my boss, next interview ask for a problem to be solved but allow candidate to use all sources including any AI they wish. It's so dumb to say, solve this with nothing but your memory and a pencil.

when interviewing for jobs, don't talk as if they're doing you a favor by hiring you and giving you money focus on removing 100% of unknowns from the interviewer, even if they don't ask you; do you work hard, learn fast, have you done this before, show something live

@TheAliceSmith Very true till we have "magic" to do jobs. AI will make socialism work. That is if the socialists fighting it stop.

Capitalists are not pro-poverty. We just know due to overwhelming factual evidence that socialism always makes poverty worse.

Until AI makes jobs obsolete, all economic systems are slavery. The difference in each is how does it force people to do jobs no one wants. In capitalism, threat of starvation is the force. Communism the state is the force. Socialism depends on flavor but work or loose shared benefits is one option. Socialism will be just fine when AI does the so called bad jobs. Till then, pick your forced labor method.

Communism was never the enemy. That’s just what the US conditions us to believe so we continue to obey and submit to a capitalist system that funnels the wealth our labor creates to the billionaire class.

I honestly don’t care how many people you think died under past communist “regimes”. It doesn’t change the fact that everyone deserves food, housing, healthcare and the ability to live a dignified life. Capitalism won’t do this and it’s literally destroying our planet.
