@ShikhaJainMD @cvspharmacy I have had the same happen to my patients. Makes your blood boil. There needs to be some alternative- partial fill and office call- something. To leave the patient to go to the ER suffering is absolutely unacceptable on so many levels.

Hey @cvspharmacy my CANCER patient went to fill her pain medication prescription and the pharmacist refused to fill if bc she felt uncomfortable and then KEPT the prescription so she got readmitted to the hospital in severe pain. This is unacceptable!!!
