@bradlander Hmm Do I want the guy who blames Israel for every problem society faces & refuses to condemn Globalize the Intifada (i.e. kill all the Jews) chants? Or, do I prefer the candidate who has always stood with the Jewish community against antisemitism but didn't show up to one event?

@eldrick_b @ZaidJilani Yes it does. It takes away from the private sector. Our gov't was never meant to run a business. I don't know if you're taking the literal sense of production, but it most certainly does. And other states doing this is also wrong where they have incorporated it into law.

This will take business away from those places, which will close down, giving him reason to open more and eventually take over the whole business, therefore becoming a monopoly. Look at how bloated the fed gov't is.

@PetePorcupine @ZaidJilani That has nothing to do with seizing the means of production but from what I understand he never talked about asking for increased federal funding, he does want to ask the governor to increase the taxes on the top 1% by 2%

@eldrick_b @ZaidJilani I personally don't care too much since I don't live in NYC. But there is already a huge deficit. If they ask for federal funding, then that will bother me because it's my tax dollars as well as a lot of lower/middle class working people's money who will not take advantage of it.

@eldrick_b @ZaidJilani From what I can tell, the video is from 2021. If he had changed his stance on it, you'd think that he would come out publicly and state this to refute what's being said about him, but he hasn't. Bernie was 40 something years ago when he said it. That's a big difference.
