🇺🇸 Bernie Sanders slams Elon: "Elon Musk owns more than the bottom 53% of households combined." Extreme leftists love preaching about other people's money… but you’ll never see them empty their own pockets for “the people.” x.com/ThePatriotOasi…

🇺🇸🇮🇷Bernie Sanders just called out the Iran strikes hard: “This war is illegal, unconstitutional, and a disaster for America.” He's demanding an immediate vote to end U.S. involvement, no more blank checks for yet another endless conflict. Source: @BernieSanders

Attacking a person's spouse is not the best look. I don't trade stocks and never will. My immigrant father in law started a successful auto transmission business. My wife a trust which neither of us has any input in. I have led the call for a stock ban and having members in a trust!

"This Army soldier was on my delayed flight home to Mississippi. He had to watch his baby being born through FaceTime. He was crying, and it broke all of our hearts. Everyone stayed quiet so he could be there for the moment, even from far away. When we heard the baby cry through his phone, the whole crowd started to cheer for him.“ Let’s honor our soldiers and their sacrifices.

@MarioNawfal Mario… not even three weeks.. How much are 1000s of Americans lives worth? How much are 30,000 Iranian executions worth? Glad some people stand up for things.

Are you under the impression Iran’s military capitulated? Well, Iranian attacks are escalating, and with a higher strike rate This war needs to end. Mission failed, enough death and destruction.

thecradle.co/articles-id/25… Sorry, this wasn't good "work" at all by the Europeans. Operation Aspides (EUNAVFOR Aspides) is a European Union military mission launched in February 2024 to protect commercial shipping from Houthi attacks in the Red Sea and surrounding waters. It was a purely DEFENSIVE naval task group (which never comprised more the two or three frigates) and the ships involved in the group only protected merchant ships from their own country. They did absolutely nothing to end the Houthi threat, took no offensive actions, and basically did nothing to maintain Freedom of Navigation in the Red Sea for ALL commercial shipping. Had the US not ended the Houthi threat, the Red Sea would probably still be closed to their shipping.

Iran is not losing. It is gaining power. Since Feb 28, Iran has exported over 10 million barrels of oil, earning a $1 billion or more—as price of oil has soared, and shock waves hit the region and western economies.

@ProfessorPape 1. Deeply associated with Tucker Carlson. 2. And he blamed the Jews in his resignation letter? Look at the Trump interview in 1980… How well does that stand as the reason for military intervention?

Ad Europe bought all the Russian oil they could, Germany connecting their own gas pipeline to Russia. EU out for themselves. Similar economies, more people in Europe… Why IS the US always shamed for talking about decreasing military for EU? Our “allies “, have rich, social nets, small militaries… and run to China every time they can to undermine the US. No other country in the world is asked to do more than the US has, since the 50s (will leave the world wars out of it). You join the American military, you know, 40% of your family and your life will be spent overseas. We can’t even get a lousy mind sweeper out of it. @DOWResponse @SecRubio

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

With the JCPOA, Iran was allowed to possess 300 kg or uranium enriched to no more than 3.67%.  That meant a breakout time of 12 months.  The cap on enrichment would have lasted 15 years. That means a framework to deny Iran the bomb for 15 years.

(Thread) Obama's diplomacy did a better job handling Iran's nuclear program than Trump's maximum pressure (when he left the JCPOA) or than his bombing.  We were safer then than we are now. And we would have been safer had Trump finalized the deal he was negotiating last month.

The Islamic regime in Iran earns around $140 million per day from oil exports According to the Financial Times, despite ongoing strikes, Iran continues to ship 1.5–1.6 million barrels of oil per day through the Strait of Hormuz. Against this backdrop, Washington is effectively allowing these exports to avoid a shortage in the global oil market. Most Iranian oil continues to be exported to China, with tankers still loading at Kharg Island despite U.S. and Israeli strikes.
