For 90s kids, Ruby Bhatia was everywhere, a familiar, confident face on TV, VJing, anchoring, interviewing. Seeing her reels today, offering life coaching, makeup tips, and even asking people to WhatsApp her for work for ₹1000, just feels heavy. Not mocking her at all. It’s simply a sobering reminder of how fleeting fame is and how important financial security in later years really is.

Reflection : Gurugram is made by local villagers, for them and from them. It's not a cosmopolitan city by the educated middle class from across India : that was a dream. This class are trespassers in a land ruled by local caste politicians. This is reality. The majority of inhabitants are foreigners and mostly voiceless. Live life as second class Citizens with condo defined quality of life. Vote for locals.

This is among the most polluted days of the year - the AQI count above 600 in several areas, with the PM 2.5 count above 400 in many places. The air pollution map shows a dense spread of pollutants in the NCR - it thins out on Delhi's fringes. With the Supreme Court helpless, the state and central governments having failed entirely in resolving this mess, we are left with no hope but to pray for rains and for the pollution season to end. Happy to share that the trials for Delhi’s first ever Hot Air Balloon rides, today at DDA’s Baansera Park on the Yamuna were successful. To be run by a qualified & professional operator, the balloon rides meet the highest standards of safety parameters. This new recreational/adventure activity started by Delhi Development Authority in the City, is another step forward in making Delhi a vibrant city replete with enhanced recreational amenities and world class infrastructure. Happy to inform that the balloon rides will be available for the people of Delhi Saturday onwards at Baansera and thereafter, at Asita, Yamuna Sports Complex and CWG Village Sports Complex in coming days.
