People should block so-called influencers of any ilk and propagandists of any sway. They have no virtues and offer nothing positive. They benefit while you are distracted from improving your mind (and by extension, the decisions you make and relationships you have).

@mkohlrogge @JoshPhillipsPhD The only one using “own” is you. I can cite (not site) several Supreme Court cases. I recommend you do it on your own - it will be beneficial to you. Learn about “in loco parentis” and how the Supreme Court has applied it with schools.

Parents, genetics, screen addiction, untreated learning or emotional disabilities, state standards, state boards of educations filled with appointees with no experience in education whatsoever, etc

@Principal_Jon I did a research paper on active learning techniques and their effect on student engagement. I surveyed students using the student engagement instrument before and after. One takeaway was how many variables affect engagement that are outside of the teacher's control.
