@volklub This is why we will never develop. Rationale voices are silenced. God men and religion are revered. Meritocracy is dead (reservations). Everyone can be bought, no rule of law.

@MonilShah123 @volklub Ratio doesn't matter anymore IMO until there is clarity on ethanol blending. 1st decision between diesel and petrol should be to delay purchase until flex fuel comes (which are worse deal on E85). Prefer diesel even if you are a city user. Once a week go for highway run or regen

My 70:30 clarity is convincing more average customers to buy an EVs than whole ecosystem trying to pitch EVs as good for long highway trips. An average customer doesn’t know much and I don’t want him/her to be stranded on a highway with family even once. He/She will learn the tech with time anyways. I say 50:50 for Diesel & Turbo Petrol. 70:30 for NA petrol and 80:20 for Hybrids. There nobody has a problem.

@SingHem @volklub Wow, thanks. Didnt think of this aspect. In NCR people have had to remove their chargers in basement parking as the society was refused NOC from Fire dept. Then they had to share the few public chargers in the society at higher costs and worse availability.

@hack3ali @volklub Nowadays In city most of the public chargers are occupied by taxi cabs. Soon they’ll occupy all the working eDrive charging stations as well. A mega charging hub as in Bengaluru is needed in all major cities

I don’t care if no brand gives me car(s) to review, I can arrange 100 cars with one call on Twitter. Ethanol fiasco already has faded my love for cars. But EVs are best for 70:30 use and best within 200 km radius (45-80 kWh) One bad planning or hiccup can cost you dearly with family. If your used case has 30% plus highways running, stick to ICE.

New EV owner. Panic mode after last night's incident, just over a month into ownership TN delta region still lacks adequate EV charging. I 100% trusted BPCL edrive charger shown as recently used in Statiq app, reached with just 23% SoC left. Range 93kms #PunchEv @Gs_Wanderer

@SingHem @volklub Intelligence, which can figure out, factor in how many EVs are ploughing through the route you are planning for, where they are predicted, recommended to stop, where the chargers will be free. A simple live charger status is not a feature on apps is disgusting.

@SingHem @volklub As more people will own EVs the problems will compound. Traffic jams, peak tourist season rush, migrating demand will be difficult to foresee, plan for. We need a subscription based charger network with penalties for downtime, one app to unify them all. Trip planner with live

@volklub The govt. Policies. But they are much better worry free ownership experience than EVs. EVs are best in a niche use case where its a backup car, your running is fixed on a route, your home/office/factory has a charger installed.

The most absurd thing you'll ever watch today. The moron thinks — just because he is using dipper — he can drive on the wrong side of a flyover 🤦🏽‍♂️ He trusts the oncoming traffic to oblige to his demands. Maybe the person's spouse was running away with a dhobi or he just wanted to brag the great stud he is to his friends. @police_haryana @dtptraffic Whom so ever's district this maybe, don't just challan the driver. Ask the court to suspend the license for atleast 2 years. The video is enough proof.

@multibaggerwala This isn’t done to reduce imports. India was exporting petrol sometime back & was making good profits. Something has changed suddenly. There is some binding to import ethanol from somewhere or some other game which we don’t know at all.

India cannot progress without banning ethanol. It is increasing your crude bill. Low mileage is leading to increased usage of petrol.

After owning an EV and traveling across 9 states, I can confidently say that a 200 km charging interval is not a limitation if your EV delivers around 400 km of real-world range. Long-distance travel becomes surprisingly easy. By the time you’re ready for a break, a meal, or a coffee, the car is usually ready to continue the journey. The biggest mindset shift is realizing that road trips are not about driving non-stop—they’re about planning smart stops. With a capable EV and a growing charging network, long-distance travel is no longer a challenge. ⚡🚗 #EV #ElectricVehicles #RoadTrip #EVTravel
Sunderdeep - Volklub@volklub

Many of our customers purchased an EV this month after paid consultation with an informed used case of driving within 200 km and 1000+ km monthly running. If something goes wrong tomorrow, they wouldn’t blame me. I say 150-200 km radius to save my skin. Best part is, many of them have one car already and I have asked them not to sell that. Sales happen when you provide clarity & not force an opinion. This consultation thing is hurting my content & creativity though.

@MarketAnalysta @volklub Forest fires we humans cant and shouldn't do anything about. The more we intervene the more it will lead to build up of fuel in forests and lead to mega fires decades later unless the fuel is collected from forest floor.

@MarketAnalysta @volklub Coal power wont get co2, nox traps because too costly. Autos, trucks will bellow black smoke, unserviced, more than 15 yrs old, commercial vehicles run more KMs per year and thus pollute more but the lobby is so strong that cant do anything to them Then there are the farm fires

@DrChandruCS @Elf_Forester @volklub @ShivrattanDhil1 They can't F with transport lobby which runs on diesel. Also do some gemini research on biodiesel, isobutanol blending. Its not the same as ethanol blending, it wont affect engine, fuel line till 15% blends.

Years ago, I was on the sell-side. Some scars heal. Others become datasets. The most important question on an earnings call is not about margins, guidance, or capex. It is: “Am I audible?” We analyzed 989 India earnings calls, 7.7M words, and 26,972 analyst question loops from Q4FY26. The result: a slightly obsessive, AI-generated-but-human-debugged map of what corporate India actually talked about. Middle East risk. Raw material anxiety. AI everywhere, revenue nowhere. And the sell-side still doing what it does best: politely saying “help me understand” when it means “I don’t believe you.” Read it here: right-tail.com/blog/am-i-audi… Disclosure: this post was AI-generated. Sadly, the memories of asking three follow-ups after “just one quick question” are entirely human.

The customer pays. Everyone else experiments. - Petrol already has the E20 headache. Higher ethanol blends are coming next. - EVs have their own limitations. - Diesels got the DPF mess. Now, isobutanol blending is on the horizon too. So what are we supposed to buy? And what are we supposed to do with the vehicles we already own? All the risk for consumers. All the benefits for governments and manufacturers.
