@sandyrpr @evelectree @Gs_Wanderer @zeoncharging BPCL bunk staff mentioned that the last vehicle to use that charger was a Mahindra EV. According to them, this issue started only after that charging session. I'm not sure if it's related, but that's what I was told.

@tushv24 Most of them are BPCL eDrive but need this kind of Ev Infrastructure across the nation.. I got struck in this region

Noida Patiala route of around 315 kms has raining EV stations & that too from reliable brands More than 150 charging stations & that too most are hubs with huge 180kW stations from Mahindra, Statiq, Glida, Chargejet etc.. There is charger every 5-10kms. I would even go in to say that there are more EV stations than petrol pumps on this stretch for sure. @SingHem @evelectree @Gs_Wanderer @zeoncharging Mg ehub app only shows chargers which are in working condition. I use that and zeon app for reliable charging. Have wundercurrent extension if you travel frequently to remote areas

@ahaanpandu @volklub Yes. That night was still unforgettable. I was thinking of plan C, D,E… until vehicle started to move. 4 hours wasted where we could have reached half way to Chennai in ICE car

@volklub Most of the regular users getting carried away by some popular youtubers doing long highway tripa on their EV's but they are larger battery packs with 400kms range. It wd be a nightmare at midnight with family struck in the car on a highway..some risks aren't worth taking

I don’t care if no brand gives me car(s) to review, I can arrange 100 cars with one call on Twitter. Ethanol fiasco already has faded my love for cars. But EVs are best for 70:30 use and best within 200 km radius (45-80 kWh) One bad planning or hiccup can cost you dearly with family. If your used case has 30% plus highways running, stick to ICE.

@hack3ali @volklub Nowadays In city most of the public chargers are occupied by taxi cabs. Soon they’ll occupy all the working eDrive charging stations as well. A mega charging hub as in Bengaluru is needed in all major cities

@SingHem @volklub Intelligence, which can figure out, factor in how many EVs are ploughing through the route you are planning for, where they are predicted, recommended to stop, where the chargers will be free. A simple live charger status is not a feature on apps is disgusting.

@volklub With the way petrol is being blended, the 10 year diesel rule in NCR, buying an ICE car 3-4 years down the line sounds very difficult. Hopefully we will have better EVs with bigger batteries by then.

@volklub @StatiqIndia I called @StatiqIndia customer care and they suggested me to restart the charger machine but bunk staff said issue is with the charging gun and complain has been raised.

@volklub @StatiqIndia Issue was there with BPCL eDrive charger for more than 1 day. Bunk staff/responsible person didn’t make the charger to disappear appear offline in the app. He was saying like from yesterday 7-8 people came for charging and everyone faced the issue 🫤.

@adiag91 @Gs_Wanderer @BPCLimited Yes. Tindivanam BPCL eDrive charger was not showing as available in the app during midnight. It came online by early morning. If anyone planning to charge at eDrive during midnight, be prepared for alternate charger near by.

@aadharamos absolutely 👍 lot more planning required and you can’t deviate to any other place than your actual trip..

Use EV only for city rides. Long rides need a proper planning and it costs your peace of mind

@evelectree @Gs_Wanderer @zeoncharging @Gs_Wanderer bro suggested to bring the battery down to 14% again and see if the issue repeats. I'll test it over the next few weeks. Interestingly, I also reached home with 14% SoC last week and the car behaved perfectly.

@SingHem @Gs_Wanderer @zeoncharging That too is surprising because we have community members who have taken down to 5% without any issue.

@volklub I know Ev infrastructure is very limited in this region and not to believe a single charger that too BPCL eDrive. I even hesitated initially to take #Punchev on this route. A nightmare which I never wanted to experience again 😐

@volklub Yes I agree with you 🙌. I bought 2026 #PunchEV mainly for city drives and occasional long trips on familiar highways. This route was completely new to me—mostly two-lane roads through a region with very limited EV charging infrastructure.
