Very much appreciate the OIG work. As I posted months ago, NASA is not taking a passive role in any component of America’s return to the lunar surface and building a Moon base. We are reviewing where NASA can do better, how we can provide relief where appropriate to burdensome requirements, where we can expand capabilities over time (Apollo 11’s EVA profile was very different than Apollo 17), and where we can help industry by inserting NASA SMEs and driving the intended outcomes. I am confident that when NASA is ready to land on the Moon in 2028, our astronauts will be wearing Axiom suits. There will always be lessons learned as we improve across NASA and industry, and we need to be mindful of the contracting approach to stimulate a market versus jumping to an as-a-service model where NASA may be the only customer for the foreseeable future. That places a significant capital burden on providers while they wait for additional demand to materialize. A successful approach for commercial crew and cargo, underpinned by launch, does not mean it is applicable to every space-related service. The orbital and lunar economy is inevitable. We just need to be thoughtful in our approach to sustainably enable it.

I believe that one of the key indicators of the slow breakdown of American society is restaurant takeout orders. I estimate that roughly 50% of all restaurant takeout is defective. Half of the time you don’t get all of the items you pay for. It reflects a lack of pride and care when this happens—it’s extraordinarily easy to check an order against the receipt when packing up the order, yet it has a 50% fail rate. And yes, I have held boring, low paying menial jobs in my life, yet I always took pride in my work. Somewhere along the way in our society this has been lost, and it does not bode well for the future.

There actually *is* an opportunity to turn Infowars into a hilarious satirical website that exaggerates current events and puts a conspiratorial spin on it while still more or less accurately reporting the news. This can only be done if the new owners do it from a place of actual comedy and not hate. If the “comedy” is just hate or thinly veiled resentment (which it likely will be) done under the guise of humor, it will flop. They could actually make this funny if they can turn their hatred off and actually make a good site. Or they just want to massacre the corpse and they’ll move on when they get bored. 🤷‍♂️

The teamwork, the precision, the drive to survive from a downed airman, the integrity, the overwhelming power is historically unparalleled. This military man’s heart is full and my appreciation for the many and various ways our military excels leaves me with immense professional martial pride. We have a generation currently serving under tremendous domestic political pressures, none of which they deserve or precipitated. They survived 4 years of indifference and ridiculous social interference and meddling, and they persevered. Monetization accounts are worried about if I will be chased, they are worried about how much I post. I post what I post when I'm in a hospital, where I am since last Thursday. Manually and without manipulating anything. I reduced considerably the number of contents shared per day since the beginning of April. There is a level of hate based on pure lies, ignoring every piece of human respect towards a difficult situation. I've been hospitalized many times, I've been posting from here as well too. Now it seems there's something wrong, now it looks like posting and being active is a shame, not something that contributes to generate traffic. I have to thank these people. Twitter and X had always been a shelter, a place where I could come without feeling a criminal. Now it feels like being chased at the fox hunt. Every single comment I write this person pops out with that 370 that doesn't tell anything about my account. I'm not a criminal, I've never used lists, groups, not even once, I never used DMs to manipulate traffic as many other accounts did. I used the scheduling too, which is something Twitter and then X authorized, to schedule SOME of the post, about 20% as some best practices were recommending years ago to better reach different time zones. Is now a crime using a platform integrated tool? This is what I had back, anyway. I'm really sorry, I wasn't expecting this.
