This one feels inevitable but really sad at the same time. Rockettheme is winding down in 30 days. Our Joomla business is still going strong at @joomlashack, but only because we got out of the design business. Extensions/plugins are a far better business than themes/templates.

IA notetaking apps have been a game-changer for my ADHD. No more “I'm sure I'll remember this” and forgetting it three seconds later. No more tangents and stories that go nowhere and wondering how I got there in the first place.

@deanleigh "We've got a new marketing person and they've got lots of digital experience" is the phrase that sends chills down every web persons spine as they realise they're about to be asked "why doesn't the website run on Wordpress?" and "how can I add my own code?"

Heart breaking watching clients throw away years of hard earned SEO because a new marketing person wants to make some changes without consultation or referencing previous decision making processes.

I see so many freelancers just doing business "as themselves" and exposing themselves to huge risk. In the UK it costs £50 to setup as a limited company which gives you a lot of personal protection. If you're dealing with big spends or your work has high value attached to it, it's worth looking at Professional Indemnity Insurance too. People are fallible and mistakes can happen.

Just realized that Express form is no longer maintained for Craft 5. Real shame, as it was great free solution for contact form functionality. #CraftCMS

Just got our first site running on @CraftCMS 5.0 🙌 Really great upgrade path 👍 Biggest thing to deal with was removing Redactor.
