You know people including me can be hard on @Tesla at times because we want to see them do even more, but nobody can call them a quitter. As a friend of mine often says “nobody likes a quitter”. @jimfarley98 & @Ford this is just so disappointing. 🥲 What’s worse is there were some amazing folks in the EV division trying everything to make it a success. The CEO of Ford talked a good game for years & many of us cheered him on, but now it just seems like smoke.

@rocketgobrrrrr @mcrs987 Probably more for the ascent phase after Columbia. The descent phase of Shuttle shouldn't matter much. Too fast, too steep. For planes, the main dangers of bird strikes are the engines and windshields I think.

@lukebayes @ST_World Also having the print be oriented 90 degrees off confused me the first time. My brain naturally synced with the data sheet and CubeMX that pin 1 was top left in that orientation instead of where the small dot was.

@ST_World and others have been like this for many years and wasted countless hours at every level. Either move your package ejector pins to match pin 1 or remove the pin 1 emboss and use a lasered triangle to mark pin 1. This must be unambiguous and multiple people should be fired for letting this continue so long.

I’m old enough to remember the US Embassy built in Moscow with local workers and materials. There were do many burst transmitters in it that nobody could talk inside. They used those erasable clipboard toys we had as kids to communicate. Finally had to abandon it and build a new embassy.

These are my positions going into the 2026 midterms. Not party-aligned, but principles aligned. If you defend your party or the President no matter what, that’s not principle, it’s cultish, performative, blind loyalty. So what matters to you in this election?

I left the GOP in 2004 and the Democrats in 2024, I don’t vote based on party anymore. I vote based on standards, qualifications, and specific issues. If a candidate can’t meet a majority, they don’t get my vote... or donation. Here’s where I stand heading into this election:

@isaacfrench_ In the Art Museum area: new Alexander Calder museum got several architectural write ups, Barnes museum interesting backstory there (Art of the Steal), Rodin museum, Eastern State Penitentiary, boathouse row.

@isaacfrench_ Shofuso, but might be hard to get into this time of year with the cherry blossoms. There's some other interesting things around it like Memorial Hall from the 1876 exposition.

Idea for Philly but prob too late for the 2026 celebrations. Turn Kelly Drive/Parkway into a trolley loop between City Hall and Manayunk. On days like today, would make a lot more sense than having it be a highway for cars.
