Working on something new is always so exciting. I can’t ever sleep on time when it’s time to build something new. I always ended up sleeping 3-5 hours later than my usual sleep time.

GMYR (Or GMUR for some of you) @MyriadMarkets I've been way to conservative and underexposed. $ 47.000.000 total volume $ 31.700.000 monthly volume. We might surpass $35M this month, I'm guessing atleast $100M volume next month.

So to be clear, this is a preorder for a humanoid home robot that will cost $20,000 or $500/month when it (maybe) ships next year, and currently is not finished. Joanna Stern got to do a demo in its current state, and 100% of its actions are tele-operated (youtu.be/f3c4mQty_so?si…) I see this as more of a hype reel for a thing that they're hoping to be able to make someday... which is becoming SO common with products these days

Yes, good platforms. We will also have next generation tokenomics platforms and launchpads coming to @LineaBuild. And if we can accelerate global penetration of prediction markets like @Polymarket and @MyriadMarkets we can bring the wisdom of the crowds and the power of markets to governance and decision making at all levels of society. We need deep liquidity and broad usage of prediction markets before Futarchy can become broadly viable. When we get there, we can embark on replacing subjective, centralized control of important platforms, that have the power to rent seek and deplatform, with more objective market-based decision making among a larger swath of stakeholders.
Chris Gora@chrisgora

@ethereumJoseph @paradigm I had similar thoughts and wrote them down here: x.com/chrisgora03/st… But what do you see replacing VCs as “better, fairer, more broadly accessible onchain investment platforms with healthy tokenomics”? Are you talking about Echo, Legion, and MetaDAO?

Today, we’re officially deprecating the Rug Radio Genesis NFTs and the $RUG token as part of our evolution toward the MYRIAD ecosystem: A unified network for creator economies and information markets. A snapshot of all Rug Radio Genesis NFTs and $RUG token balances (claimed, unclaimed, and to be yielded) has been taken for future conversion into $MYR community allocations. This ensures that the Rug Radio community’s early participation and contributions continue to be represented in the broader MYRIAD vision. Further details on the conversion process and claim mechanics will follow at the time of the $MYR community allocation event. Thank you to everyone who helped build Rug Radio into what it is, your role in shaping the future of media continues through MYRIAD.

I will make it very simple for you: this is the $myr pre-market chart. Yes, the @MyriadMarkets token that is going to TGE in a few weeks. Perhaps a couple of hundred people know it, and they are already max long, because they had months to accumulate at those prices or lower. But most of CT still thinks it is a dead token being traded by a few hardcore degens who have nothing better to do. The best way to think about it? 1 $rug = 1 $myr And it is currently trading at a $135m FDV. Not market cap. FDV. Meanwhile, Limitless got $100m of pledges in presale, and they are not the Hyperliquid of predictions. They don’t have Joe Lubin and CZ lurking in the background. They don’t have a strategy of distribution that will put prediction markets on every website, every news outlet, every wallet. So you can either go your way, or you can pay attention to the alpha. I will pause here. AMA👇

Prediction markets have opened up a completely new dimension for expressing your views, and profiting from them. I just placed one myself on @MyriadMarkets 😅 so let’s walk through how they work with a live example. Suppose you are very bullish on ETH going into the end of the week. Traditionally, your options to monetize that conviction were limited: 1️⃣ Buy ETH spot – Safe, but capped upside. 2️⃣ Long ETH with perps – Potentially high reward, but you carry liquidation risk. 3️⃣ Buy Ethereum DATs – A higher beta play, but still somewhat limited upside in a short time frame. Even in the best case, 1️⃣ and 3️⃣ might net you ~10% over a few days. 2️⃣ could yield much more, but at the cost of constant stress about liquidations. 👉 That’s where prediction markets change the game. Instead of buying or leveraging ETH directly, you can simply stake your conviction on the outcome of an event. For example, on Myriad, there’s currently a market on whether SBET will trade above $19 by September 2nd. ✔️ If you’re bullish, you buy “Yes.” ✔️ If you’re bearish, you buy “No.” Right now, “Yes” trades at 64.5%, meaning the market collectively thinks there’s a ~65% chance SBET ends above $19. If you buy “Yes” today and SBET does finish above $19 on Sept 2nd, your position settles at 100%. That’s about a +50% return, with no liquidation risk along the way. Of course, the trade-off is simple: if you are wrong, your stake goes to zero. So prediction markets are binary by design, you either win big or lose your position. But that binary nature is exactly why they’re powerful: ✅ They allow you to directly express your view on an event, without dealing with complex instruments. ✅ They give you clear, defined payoffs without margin calls. ✅ And they often provide higher risk/reward efficiency than spot or derivatives. ⚡ Pro tip: Start with small amounts to learn how pricing works, how probabilities shift, and how liquidity flows in. Once you get comfortable, you can scale your predictions in line with your risk appetite. Easiest way to try it? Sign up to @MyriadMarkets and place your first prediction. Link 👇

Today we launched a new product called ChatGPT Agent. Agent represents a new level of capability for AI systems and can accomplish some remarkable, complex tasks for you using its own computer. It combines the spirit of Deep Research and Operator, but is more powerful than that may sound—it can think for a long time, use some tools, think some more, take some actions, think some more, etc. For example, we showed a demo in our launch of preparing for a friend’s wedding: buying an outfit, booking travel, choosing a gift, etc. We also showed an example of analyzing data and creating a presentation for work. Although the utility is significant, so are the potential risks. We have built a lot of safeguards and warnings into it, and broader mitigations than we’ve ever developed before from robust training to system safeguards to user controls, but we can’t anticipate everything. In the spirit of iterative deployment, we are going to warn users heavily and give users freedom to take actions carefully if they want to. I would explain this to my own family as cutting edge and experimental; a chance to try the future, but not something I’d yet use for high-stakes uses or with a lot of personal information until we have a chance to study and improve it in the wild. We don’t know exactly what the impacts are going to be, but bad actors may try to “trick” users’ AI agents into giving private information they shouldn’t and take actions they shouldn’t, in ways we can’t predict. We recommend giving agents the minimum access required to complete a task to reduce privacy and security risks. For example, I can give Agent access to my calendar to find a time that works for a group dinner. But I don’t need to give it any access if I’m just asking it to buy me some clothes. There is more risk in tasks like “Look at my emails that came in overnight and do whatever you need to do to address them, don’t ask any follow up questions”. This could lead to untrusted content from a malicious email tricking the model into leaking your data. We think it’s important to begin learning from contact with reality, and that people adopt these tools carefully and slowly as we better quantify and mitigate the potential risks involved. As with other new levels of capability, society, the technology, and the risk mitigation strategy will need to co-evolve.

Met the extremely tall @mntruell from @cursor_ai Cursor is now using the 10,000 line long plane game (fly . pieter . com) source code to make Cursor work well with ridiculous codebases like mine I had issues (I think we all do) when the file gets too big and it loses understanding of what's going on I said all of you on X always tell me to learn to code "properly" like split my code up in multiple files but honestly I don't wanna do all that work when I'm vibe coding They said Cursor should work with any codebase including mine too! And they're launching big improvements for long files ASAP They have a really cute cosy office in San Francisco, it feels more like a group of friends just hanging out in the student dorm kinda, but with a bit more screens and laptops and fluffy IKEA rugs We brought them 🇵🇹🥮 Pastel de Nata from Portugal too Very chill and nice people 😊 With @yasser_elsaid_ and @Erwin_AI

the last couple of GPT-4o updates have made the personality too sycophant-y and annoying (even though there are some very good parts of it), and we are working on fixes asap, some today and some this week. at some point will share our learnings from this, it's been interesting.

I still see regular people have no clue how we use AI to code They think it's like AI Agents and lots of hype bs But for me most of it isn't very difficult or deep or fancy but it's simply A LOT of autocompleting and prediction now Small things like this a few mins ago: Nomad List's weather API robot that pulls the weather every day to show on the site, sometimes it hits an error on the API side, and it sends that to my Telegram Then I wanna know "ok for what city is it erroring?" The moment I just put my cursor on "Bad API reply" it already knows what I want and autocompletes to "Bad API reply for city $city['name']" which will tell me for example "Bad API reply for Bangkok" Basic stuff like that saves me a lot of seconds and minutes in a day and it adds up!
