MLB is playing with fire here. There are plenty of other options for sports and lots of other ways to spend entertainment dollars. Democrats embrace antisemitism. MLB now threatens Christians. That’s just not where the majority of the country is, and they embrace the fringe at their peril.

I suppose I can understand not wanting to tell a kid about all the LGBTQ people that were murdered by homophobes for no reason, but you can probably just leave the specific details out and say “it’s how we show we accept people in all types of relationships being at the ballpark”

@OriginalClady Disagree. Gay people are welcome to go to a sporting event pretty much anywhere and no one cares. But when I take my 8 year old to a game and have to explain what “Pride night” is about, I’m not cool with it. Sexuality can and should be private in my opinion

Caught like 20 minutes of this on a tv at a bar and damn. Like these things used to be proper films, with cinematic inspiration and attention to lighting and costuming and set design.

Very well deserved. Mandalorian wasn't terrible but it also felt pointless which in turn made it feel like a cash grab. I'm happy to see that Disney wasn't sent a signal that fans want more of this type of content.

@SamGradyWrites You can write any story you want, the question is how well it will resonate with the audience. Going the aliens route of course was one possible way to go, but that's a tough path to pull off well. Especially in about 2 hours. I'm not sure the film accomplished that.
