Optimum DeRAM is a decentralized memory layer built for Web3 designed for high throughput, low latency, and scalable performance in truly distributed environments. It tackles core challenges like asynchronous communication, node churn, malicious participants, and coordination overhead in decentralized systems. At its core, DeRAM provides an atomic read/write shared memory abstraction that stays fast, reliable, and highly available. We leverage Random Linear Network Codes (RLNC) to avoid heavy synchronization costs, improving bandwidth efficiency, fault tolerance, and overall system durability in distributed storage. The system is powered by Flexnodes functionally heterogeneous nodes that collectively handle storage and communication. Any client can connect to any Flexnode for read/write operations, making the network both flexible and resilient. However, one topic is rarely discussed: network coding the mathematical framework that controls how efficiently information moves between nodes. This is surprising because gossip propagation is one of the most important parts of any blockchain network. Every block, transaction, attestation, and blob depends on the gossip layer to spread across the network. The speed and efficiency of this process directly affect finality times, validator performance, transaction inclusion latency, and overall user experience. Random Linear Network Coding offers provably optimal performance for these exact challenges, and researchers in information theory have studied it for decades. While effective at smaller scales, this approach introduces structural inefficiencies as activity increases: • excessive bandwidth overhead • duplicated traffic across nodes • inconsistent propagation timing • reduced synchronization efficiency during congestion These effects become particularly important in environments requiring low-latency coordination, including staking infrastructure, high-frequency DeFi systems, and real-time blockchain applications. Optimum focuses on this networking layer directly through its mump2p architecture. Rather than relying on repetitive broadcasting, information is distributed as encoded fragments that can be dynamically recombined during transmission. This changes the propagation model itself. Nodes no longer need complete datasets before contributing useful information to the network. Propagation becomes more adaptive, bandwidth-efficient, and resilient under unstable conditions. The implications extend beyond faster delivery times. More consistent propagation improves validator synchronization, reduces timing variance across geographically distributed nodes, and strengthens overall coordination within the system. As blockchain ecosystems continue evolving toward larger validator sets and higher throughput environments, networking efficiency increasingly becomes a foundational scalability requirement. Because at scale, distributed systems are ultimately limited not only by computation but by how efficiently information moves between participants. @get_optimum

While testing @nemai_io AI I noticed an improvement in how the AI responds to fever related questions. Previously, when I asked about having a fever, the AI mostly asked follow up questions without giving any initial guidance. But during my recent testing, it provided basic suggestions like rest and staying hydrated before asking for more details. I liked that the response felt more helpful while still maintaining a safety-focused approach by asking additional symptom related questions. It’s nice to see improvements during the alpha testing phase, and I hope the AI continues becoming even more user friendly and reliable. thanks @0xnempc
