Retatrutide, Tesamorelin + IGF-1 LR3 changed way more than just my body composition. People only talk about the fat loss side of peptides, but not enough about inflammation, recovery, insulin sensitivity, and mental state. 205 → 170 across 2 cuts and a bulk Less body inflammation. Better recovery. Better insulin sensitivity. One thing I still deal with though is anhedonia. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke weed. But mentally feeling “flat” is a real thing for some people and it’s not talked about enough. Training stayed intense and consistent, so getting my macros in honestly was never a huge issue for me even on reta. Completely different physique now. Got into peptides over 3 years ago and haven’t looked back.

my cagrilintide came in the mail today 🤟🏽 perfect timing because as I’ve been increasing my daily expenditure on this cut my appetite is going through the roof, especially at night. I’m still taking reta 3mg a week as well going to be starting at 250 mcg twice a week wish me luck 🫡

had a client who absolutely could not tolerate reta, and it bummed him out. higher resting heart rate fatigue felt overstimulated generally felt terrible on it at first glance people would instantly blame the reta itself. but after digging deeper and working through process of elimination, i had a theory the real issue was actually his Wellbutrin. and sure enough… that ended up being the missing piece. for people who don’t know: Wellbutrin already increases norepinephrine/dopamine activity, which can raise sympathetic nervous system tone, heart rate, stimulation, anxiety, etc in certain people. then you add reta on top, which can also increase heart rate and alter autonomic signaling/metabolic output in some individuals, and now certain people feel absolutely awful from the combination. interestingly enough, he tolerated tirz much better during this period. later on he started TRT, slowly got off the Wellbutrin, retried reta… and suddenly tolerated it way better. same peptide. different physiological environment. this is exactly why personalized protocols matter so much and why peptide response is never as simple as: “compound good” or “compound bad.”

@rahulmodifit Had another thought too on Cag..... it's great for cycling off Reta. I've used it to supplement Reta too on those days I need extra help. Have a friend using Cag now to ween off Reta.

@rahulmodifit Cag is a solid add. The amylin piece targets that night hunger differently than GLP-1 alone. 250mcg 2x is a smart starting point. Stack it right and the compounding effect is real. Keep me posted on how it lands. Good luck!!🍀

@Fidgetz93 Damn I’ve been curious about FLGR! Definitely feel like a human furnace as well, I’m cooking with Yohimbine, reta, mots c, ss31, tesa, and test. Yeah that seems to be a good standard starting dose for Cagri

@rahulmodifit 250mcg twice a week. Recent bump up in test, with FLGR firing and Reta, I’m a human furnace with appetite lol. I do like cagri so far though.

@rahulmodifit Agreed, fascinated by and never getting sick of ever changing and evolving mitochondria. The closer to optimal that and nutrient partitioning / metabolic health is, the closer to nirvana

most people don’t realize how bad they actually felt until something fixes their metabolism. a huge percentage of people thought they had a discipline problem when they actually had a metabolic health problem. insulin resistance food noise constant hunger blood sugar dysregulation dopamine/reward dysfunction PCOS sleep apnea visceral fat chronic inflammation fatty liver energy crashes poor satiety signaling then they take something like reta and suddenly realize their body was fighting them the entire time. calling these peptides just “weight loss drugs” is massively underselling what’s actually happening physiologically.

@rahulmodifit i've seen that with patients on GLP-1s too they think it's just about food intake but really it's about insulin sensitivity and hormone regulation makes a big difference when you address the underlying metabolic issues

@mannyjplays It’s crazy how much of a reset these compounds can incur. I’m not at that age yet but I’ve seen how difficult it can be over and over again

@rahulmodifit I’ve been up and down weight for a long time. This last time I gained weight and was trying to get myself back on a healthy lifestyle it was almost impossible. Being overweight after 30 is no joke.
