It’s pretty crazy to me how the Texas legislature is controlled by Republicans who behave like Democrats. Here’s a review of what they did this legislative session: They have allowed their legislative session to be taken over by MAHA grifters pushing bills to harm interstate commerce, they let jihadists push Islamic inspired bills to honor RAMADAN PAKISTAN, the same Pakistan that protected Osama Bin Laden, they created a bill to jail people for posting political memes, and as the legislative session comes to a close on June 2nd, lawmakers in Texas are now trying to pass a bill that BANS people under the age of 18 from using social media. This is called the NANNY state. Did you know Texas lawmakers are trying to make it ILLEGAL for teenagers to be on social media? Texas House Bill 186 aims to prohibit minors from using social media platforms. Specifically, it would ban individuals under the age of 18 from creating or using accounts on certain social media platforms (ironically it excludes Tik Tok and Youtube, the two most popular for people under 18), it would require age verification for new users, and it would grant parent the ability to request the deletion of their child's account. The bill has already passed in the Texas House and is now awaiting action in the Senate. Texas’s legislative session ends on June 2nd. If you live in Texas, call your lawmakers and tell them they aren’t in charge of other people’s kids. Let people parent their children how they see fit. After an incredible amount of thought, contemplation, and encouragement from so many, I have decided to remove my name from consideration for the United States Senate.
I could not have been more honored to serve as RNC co-chair during the most high-stakes election of our lifetime and I’m truly humbled by the unbelievable support shown to me by the people of our country, and here in the great state of Florida. I have read so many of your kind messages and I cannot thank you enough.
I do have a big announcement that I’m excited to share in January, so, stay tuned.
I remain incredibly passionate about public service and look forward to serving our country again sometime in the future. In the meantime, I wish Governor DeSantis the best of luck with this appointment.

@elonmusk, just the tip of the iceberg. We caught MI SoS Jocelyn "We will come for you" Benson with her hand in the cookie jar. 125,428 illegal votes cast in MI during #2024Election. Her fingerprints all over 'em. She is now in full cover up mode. Her "formatting error" explanation is demonstrably false. Lawsuit pending.
