@guidoacasa With only 77 new vehicles licensed in new registration month, (plug in grant going) & 157 vehicles came off fleet, encouraging drivers to switch proprietor could be problematic, they might find there’ll be insufficient supply. Ratio, new & exits will undoubtedly continue.

Recently my Lopay doesn’t display that I’ve received a tip on my phone. It’s only afterwards when I look at my earnings do I see the jobs did have tips. Is this a setting I need to change or a glitch.

Reasonably sensible scab spoke to me at NSL. He said Ubung taking 60% & he’s trapped. I wasn’t massively sympathetic I admit.

Reversing out of a supermarket bay, a car scraped us, but didn't stop. Thought it would clean up, but it's literally the silver paint being rubbed off, showing off the black plastic. Zut alors! 😩

@Hamishbutter @bc7653 @ldn_jc44 Was that the advanced eye test, I get the impression surgeries are flooded with medicals inc bus and mini cab drivers , there is often a 28 day wait, it will be filled in by a senior partner with no need to even see a GP face to face ?

Sherbert another step closer to the American lot , the Sherbert app platform is owned by them and now this . They changed all their CC to Curb system so if you drive or rent off of Sherbert you can opt in to use the American app. I wonder how many will return the cab ?

@Hamishbutter Mine was. Bring form in. Pay today. Doctor fill it in tomorrow. Collected it..and sent off ..after making a photo copy off it..and recorded delivery. But my doctors is 5 minutes away.. I just think,if there’s any issues. Far easier to go your doctor route.

Yesterday's Britain, A Better Britain.
It's 1985 and I've just started work. My first month's salary was £160. I worked shifts in a freight office in Dover. A few months later I passed my driving test and bought a cheap car for a few hundred pounds. I put some money to one side and went on holiday for a week. I'd occasionally buy games for my ZX Spectrum and go to the pub with my mates, to have a good night with just £20. Then, one day, I left my job and got another one. It paid more and now I worked regular office hours. I upgraded my car and went on holiday again. Exciting times. Carefree times. And I've only got 2 'O' Levels - grade D! I'm glad to have been part of that era, for it was the best. I wouldn't want to be young today, and looking for a job. And what we had then is gone for good.

@YesterdaysBrit1 First job May 1986. Salary £153 per month. Gave my Mam £10 a week for board. Bought a house in 1993. Multiple holidays every year. Money was very tight though, careful budgeting made for a decent life on a modest income.

SERU test completed today! For anyone got it coming up it’s nothing to worry about. Having the handbook to look up the answers is like having an A-Z in an appearance!! Two Uber drivers were on their retests!! 😂😂😂 says it all really
