Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE) has announced that it will produce 1,900 thermobaric aircraft bombs for the Turkish Armed Forces 🇹🇷. These munitions are described as extremely destructive weapons designed to cause massive damage in their area of effect. According to reports, they can be highly lethal in the blast zone. These bombs, which end all life in the area where they detonate, have such a high impact that they can vaporize a human being.

🇬🇷 In the video shared by Greek Defense Minister Dendias with the title “We are building the strongest army in history,” the old and basic equipment drew strong reactions from the Greek public 😂 Even registered hunters in Turkey have better gear 😂 Just look at the power-display video posted by the country’s own minister it looks like a scout club that went out for a picnic. 😂😂

Greek Minister Kairidis: "They speak as if there were no Turks in Cyprus and Türkiye suddenly occupied the island." "Those who say this have been trained that way." "Cyprus was divided as a result of the conflict between the two peoples. This is more of a Turkish thesis."
Harris Samaras@HarrisSamaras

Another account, @hermes_z, part of Turkey's propaganda machine. No different than @clashreport or @TurkishCentury. The video is from Turkey's invasion of Cyprus in 1974, part of which is occupied by Turkey still. Similar images have been uploaded by the "tender-hearted" and "humane" Turkish propaganda machine. Most of them, if not all, have been proven to be one of the many propaganda gimmicks exercised as all the "actors" encountered with Turkish "charity" have been later found murdered in wells and unmarked (mass) graves. I list here below three facts only, there are more, acts confirmed by UN resolutions and the European Court of Human Rights, facts that condemn Turkey: 1. One-third of the Greek population of Cyprus was displaced (162,000 out of the then in 1974 population was 507,500 - the total population then was 663,254). Since 1974, Turkey has implemented a systematic policy of settlement of the occupied part of Cyprus with the mass transfer of more than 160,000 Turks from Turkey in order to change the demographic profile and alter the population balance on the island. This policy, together with driving the Greek -Cypriot inhabitants out of the region, the destruction of the cultural heritage, and the illegal change of geographical place names in the occupied part of Cyprus, aims at the elimination of every single, millennia-old Greek and Christian element, and eventually the "turkification" of the region. The forcible removal of one-third of the island's Greek population from the north, preventing their return and altering the demographic structure through the importation of settlers, is ethnic cleansing. 2. Over 2,000 people went missing following the invasion, with many cases showing they were last seen under the custody of Turkish forces. To comprehend the numbers involved, at the end of the Vietnam War in 1975 - a war with direct participation of the US of 8 years - 2,646 Americans were listed as missing. The Turkish invasion of Cyprus lasted about one month. 3. Numerous Greek women and girls (men also) were subjected to sexual violence and rape by Turkish soldiers, often at gunpoint. The rapes were not isolated incidents of indiscipline but rather widespread, deliberate, with many raped multiple times. Victims ranged in age from children to elderly. The so-called Turkish "Peace Operation" in Cyprus in 1974 was anything but related to peace! It was an operation of barbarism and inhumanity, and those that support and promote it can be nothing less but barbarians and inhumane. | #Turkey #AKtrolls #Cyprus #OccupiedCyprus

Developed by Turkish STM, the unmanned submarine "TENGIZ" represents a new phase in Türkiye's undersea warfare concept. With a 3,000 km range, 400+ meter dive depth, and torpedo/mine capabilities, it can conduct complex naval missions. The system also supports ISR, SIGINT, and electronic warfare operations while integrating with the ADVENT combat management system for network-centric warfare. TENGIZ is also another indicator of the rapid and increasingly difficult-to-contain rise of Türkiye's defense industry in advanced naval technologies.
Verteidigungsindustrie der Türkei (M.E.A)@denizaltici

"TENGIZ" UNBEMANNTES U-BOOT von STM. (alt-türkisch für „Meer“ / „weites Gewässer“) Die türkische Firma #STM hat gerade ein 18 Tonnen schweres #XLUUV (#Tengiz Unmanned SubMARINE) vorgestellt, das autonom navigieren kann (Reichweite 3000 km) und folgende Aufgaben erfüllt: Kampfeinsätze (#Antischiff, #U-Boot-Abwehr) Minenkriegsführung, Meeresbodenkriegsführung #ElektronischeKriegsführung/#SIGINT/#ISR Technische Daten (Stand Mai 2026) Länge: 11,2 Meter Durchmesser: 1,6 Meter Verdrängung: 17,8 Tonnen Tauchtiefe: über 400 Meter Höchstgeschwindigkeit: über 8 Knoten Einsatzdauer: über 20 Tage (bei niedriger Geschwindigkeit bis ca. 1600 Seemeilen Reichweite) Transport: Passt in einen 40-Fuß-ISO-Container,LKW kann von Häfen, Versorgungsschiffen oder über Well-Deck von Schiffen wie der TCG Anadolu gestartet/geborgen werden. Hohe Autonomie: Vollautonom, ohne Besatzung an Bord. B. Pipelines, Kabel).

Beating around the bush again @hermes_z, and again, and deliberately, you choose to falsify and forge the facts, the history, the ethnic cleansing, the rape, the barbarism. You choose to "ignore" the UN resolutions against, and the ECHR condemnations of, Turkey. A "guarantor" power @hermes_z, and a "peace operation", does not commit ethnic cleansing, does not displace, does not prevent the return of the legal inhabitants that have for millennia been living in the occupied part of Cyprus by Turkey, a "guarantor" does not alter the demographic structure through the importation of settlers from Turkey. Your underlying falsehoods, your propaganda, is null and void. Exposed naked by international courts time and time again, and by the United Nations General Assembly. Your last paragraph in your response @hermes_z, your distortion, fabrication, and prevarication: "And finally, thank you @HarrisSamaras for once again giving us the opportunity to remind the world why the suffering of Turkish Cypriots before 1974 should never be erased from history", exposes the Turkish disinformation agenda utterly and fundamentally. It exposes Turkey's official narrative, designed to justify the ongoing occupation of part of Cyprus, and the ethnic cleansing committed by Turkey, the occupier. You @hermes_z, no different than @clashreport, @TurkishCentury and the several likes, are part of the state-driven Turkish propaganda machine. The aim and target are in essence twofold: 1. To disrupt the Western information ecosystem. 2. To shape perception re Turkey's regional expansionist and jingoistic agenda. Another is keeping the Turkish masses indoctrinated, to suppress dissent and reinforce obedience to the Ankara regime. | #Turkey #AKtrolls #Cyprus #OccupiedCyprus #TurkishDisinformation #TurkishPropagandaMachine

Cyprus Peace Operation, 1974 Not an enemy before him, but an elderly Greek Cypriot. No anger. No retaliation. Just a Turkish soldier, offering something more powerful than force: "Take some food. Take some water."

When historical facts become harder to suppress, the usual response is to label everyone discussing them as part of a "propaganda machine." @HarrisSamaras, you can insult, accuse, and tag half of X if you wish. It still will not erase EOKA violence, the Akritas Plan, the Enosis coup, or what Turkish Cypriots endured before 1974. If anything, these reactions only strengthen our determination to continue challenging decades of one-sided narratives.

For decades, much of the Western world heard only one version of Cyprus. But very few were told about Turkish Cypriot children growing up inside isolated enclaves surrounded by hostility. Or families unable to cross roads safely between villages. Or entire communities living for years under fear after the constitutional order collapsed in 1963. Very few heard about villages attacked and burned, civilians killed, or people disappearing long before 1974. Very few were told that the 1974 coup openly aimed at Enosis, the annexation of Cyprus to Greece, creating genuine fears among Turkish Cypriots that they could face mass expulsion or worse. EOKA was not a "civil rights movement." It was an armed terrorist organization that carried out bombings, assassinations, sabotage attacks, and executions in pursuit of Enosis, the union of Cyprus with Greece. Its violence targeted not only Turkish Cypriots, but also British soldiers, police officers, civilians, and even Greek Cypriots accused of opposing its agenda. During the insurgency against British rule, more than 100 British servicemen were killed in EOKA attacks, alongside dozens of police officers and civilians. Later, EOKA-B openly backed the 1974 coup supported by the Greek junta, the very coup that pushed Cyprus toward catastrophe and deepened fears among Turkish Cypriots of annihilation or expulsion. A history that completely ignores the fears, trauma, and suffering of Turkish Cypriots is not reconciliation. It is selective memory. The Cyprus issue was never a simple story of "good guys" and "bad guys." And the more people discover what happened before 1974, the harder it becomes to maintain the myths many grew up with.

For decades, Greeks and Rum Cypriots lobbying and propaganda dominated the Western narrative on Cyprus almost uncontested. Seeing the long-dominant narrative increasingly challenged by historical facts clearly makes some people uncomfortable, including @HarrisSamaras. We will continue speaking about what happened to Turkish Cypriots before 1974, no matter how aggressively it is dismissed as "propaganda." The 1974 intervention did not emerge in a vacuum. Before Türkiye intervened as a guarantor power under the 1960 agreements, Turkish Cypriots endured years of intercommunal violence, forced displacement, massacres, and isolation following the collapse of the constitutional order in 1963. The coup backed by the Greek junta in July 1974 openly aimed at Enosis, annexation of Cyprus to Greece. Even Western archives and diplomats of the period acknowledged that a large-scale massacre and expulsion of Turkish Cypriots was feared if Türkiye had not intervened. You speak of propaganda, yet ignore EOKA violence, Akritas plans, destroyed Turkish villages, and the fact that Turkish Cypriots were pushed into enclaves long before 1974. No war is without tragedy. But reducing the entire conflict to a one-sided narrative while erasing what happened to Turkish Cypriots is not history, it is political mythology. And finally, thank you @HarrisSamaras for once again giving us the opportunity to remind the world why the suffering of Turkish Cypriots before 1974 should never be erased from history.

Turkey may pass such legislation domestically, but no unilateral act can override international law or create legal entitlements where none exist. Any such law would carry no legal weight internationally and would instead deepen Turkey’s diplomatic and economic isolation while forcing the EU to demonstrate credibility. When a third country like Turkey actively undermines international law while directly targeting the interests and sovereign rights of EU member states, it ceases to be a bilateral issue and becomes a direct challenge to the bloc’s credibility, security, energy objectives, and foundational principles. @eu_eeas bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

52 years later, we are still burying our martyrs. Hüseyin Mestan was just 19 years old when he was killed in 1974 in Doğruyol. His remains were recently identified through the work of the bi-communal scientific committee operating under the Presidency of the TRNC, before he was finally laid to rest at Bağlıköy Şehitliği. For decades, his family waited for answers. Now, after more than half a century, he has finally been brought home. May he rest in peace.
