THIS IS WILD… Passenger says United denied a simple request that could literally save their life. Severe peanut allergy. One exposure = possible fatal reaction. All they asked for? A small buffer zone on the plane. Instead… they were told to basically deal with it and “email the company.” On a packed flight where people are eating inches away… That’s not a minor issue. @Sublux8tor @future_yas It *is* autonomous but you are supervising it. The problem is how fast it can expect you to take over, and how the company can claim that their system didn't contribute to a crash that happens seconds later. Tesla doesn't seem the most trustworthy company.

@CaptainCodeman @future_yas It’s not autonomous dum dum. If the driver doesn’t like the deal then they don’t have to use the system. See how that works? When the day comes that Tesla declares it autonomous, from that day forward you can blame Tesla for ALL crashes.

In the eyes of Tesla stans FSD is never at fault. If the logs showed that FSD was engaged the whole time, they would complain and say that the driver should have taken over.

I will get a ton of blowback for what I am about to say, but here goes. I have let people use FSD on all of my Teslas since I first got it. Over all the years I have seen the same issue over and over again. When they are unfamiliar, they did not notice when it disengaged. The sound of disengagement is not very loud and can easily be missed, when inexperienced. I am not saying that Tesla was at fault, but it would be nice to have a default setting and clear voice and visual announcement, that FSD has been disengaged. Have said so in my live streams as well. Then there could be an advanced setting where you turn that "off" to basically what it is right now. It can be missed for beginners, as some touch the wheel or tap the brakes, not knowing that they actually disengaged. Again, I said what I said, but if you disagree, I ask you to let some none Tesla drivers drive your car.

This was one of those wow moments while using Tesla Self-Driving. We were driving home in the pouring rain when the car started to slow down at a green light. At first I questioned its decision but then I saw the person slowly crossing in a wheel chair. I promise you I was paying full attention to the road and I did not see the person until after the car began to slow down. Visibility was awful. Amazing work @Tesla_AI
