@ENDESGA As small as possible without sacrificing any features is best. I really hate that so many modern games are like 100 GB. I very rarely download any game that's more than 10 GB. Same with any other software, the size is one of the things I consider when comparing alternatives.

is anyone else here obsessed with file size? if you have the choice between an average tool that's <1MB, and a similar "better" tool that's >1GB... which would you choose? surely people want things to be as small and compressed as possible?

@XorDev As far as negatives, I was obese, and playing video games probably didn't help that. I lost a lot of weight after starting to go on regular walks at parks. I think it's good to have an outdoor hobby in addition to a video game hobby. It's healthier that way.

@XorDev I think video games have been an overall positive for me too. I played a lot of sandbox games as a kid, which has been beneficial for me, at least from a creative standpoint. Having to solve puzzles and interact with games is probably better than watching TV at least.

What games did you play growing up? How did they affect you?

@8bitMusicTheory The mode videos have been great. I never really understood how or why modes work before these videos. Now I try to use modes and mode mixture a lot more often.

@ansdor Yeah I'm enjoying that mode. I used to just play on cannonball with shuffled tracks to get a random selection. Random grand tour is exactly the mode I wanted.

I'm really happy with random grand tour mode. it's one of those things I really should have implemented sooner. for the first time in years I'm having real fun playing the game again

@8bitMusicTheory It's unfortunate that YouTube makes it so hard to talk about any music that isn't videogame music. But this is a great video, thank you for making it!
