@British_Airways is British Airways // Help genuine? I commented about the lounge being closed at Glasgow and one of your team commented back. Then had a message from another account saying the were customers services and DM them and suddenly they are calling me on WhatsApp from +44 7400 743371 Sounds like a scam as they keep calling offering compensation (can’t be @British_Airways surely?) maybe a warning every time the real @British_Airways reply to someone???

@British_Airways I’ve just looked online and it’s closed due to flooding so presumably isn’t opening soon. Maybe a note for anyone flying from Glasgow hoping to use it would be useful.

@British_Airways I thought you were getting better. Why didn’t you send out an advisory that your lounge was closed @GLA_Airport ? You’ve sent me one saying your First wing is undergoing some work and the heathrow express is disrupted on arrival in London. Yet you wait until I get to the lounge to find a notice and the door barred. Not great service is it.

Just back from the @MullRally1 which I first went to 35y ago as a young doctor (with my wife who was an even younger surgeon), for the first closed road event in the UK in 1990. Much warmer than I remember it, and so well organised. Pleasure to go back with @MartinHunt66 and meet all the doctors paramedics and rescue crews who made us so welcome and learn how we can improve things. Special thanks to @SueSanders001 for the itinerary and Graeme Brown the mastermind behind the medical set up, which the event should be very proud of. Thank you @ourmotorsportuk and @JonBolton for organising this and #Matthew one of the @WeAreSMMC rescue crews who for driving us round and through the stages. Final mention has to go to #Amy who is from Mull but works for @ourmotorsportuk safety department whose knowledge of the island and rallying was so useful; and her mum who supplied the cakes

Well that was @BTCC to be proud of @krcircuit . Rarely do you see so many happy smiling people including spectators, @ourmotorsportuk officials, @WeAreSMMC @BARCMarshals , medics @TOCA_Safety and competitors. And it’s even rarer to get such amazing weather. The traffic from what looked like a huge crowd was well managed with a happy team doing a brilliant job. Take a bow @mrsflash52 and all the team.

Just home after a classic BGP with the full range of the British Summer! Proud to see all the doctors, nurses, paramedics, medical staff, rescue crews, marshals and officials from across UK motorsport working together; even most of @TOCA_Safety were there. It’s a much bigger @F1 event than when I first went in 1985 but the @rafredarrows are still as impressive. Well done @ourmotorsportuk and @SilverstoneUK
